The head is pretty good in general, with a potential drawback. There are some heads which "auto-detect" which hole to send the pressure to, when you connect it to a tire/tube that is not flat. Whatever pressure exists in the tube pushes the ball in the head to one side, allowing the air to be directed to the correct hole. In these heads, sometimes the ball gets stuck (if you didn't use it for a while) or if you have a completely flat tire/tube, but generally they work automatically and can be easily used with various adapter (for inflating air balls, gym balls, mattresses etc). This head doesn't work like this. Instead, by default the air is sent to the smaller hole (which works with Presta aka Sclaverand / Dunlop valves). To direct air to the bigger hole (car / auto / Schraeder) valve, the valve stem has to be pushed deep enough into the head, then the lever must be locked. So the selection happens not by air pressure, but by actual mechanical pressure of the valve stem into the head. This is both a pro and a con. On the good side, if you have a tire/tube with a car/auto/Schrader valve with a long enough valve stem, you just push the head on the valve as far as it goes, then flip the lever to lock the head on it, you can start pumping and the air will go into the correct hole, even if the tire/tube is completely flat. On the other hand, if you want to inflate a gym/yoga/exercise/sports ball or an air mattress, using one of the typical adapters, most of these adapters have a car/auto/Schraeder valve attachment that is quite short and has a shoulder so it can't be pushed deep enough into the head. So if you you use any of these adapters, the air will just go into the other hole, and you won't be able to inflate your item. Personally, I have a gym ball adapter that can be used with the smaller hole (Presta aka Sclaverand / Dunlop), so that works out fine, with this adapter only (hopefully it won't get lost). For inflating sports balls, I use a mini pump.
