Product information "Spark 900 EVO Carbon Black (New item with a paint fault)"

This Scott Spark 900 EVO is a returned item. The full-suspension MTB has minor cosmetic flaws which do not affect its functionality in any way and are shown in the photographs (slight signs of wear and scratches on the suspension fork and rear triangle).

If you had to describe the perfect mountain bike, what would spring to mind? For Scott, it’s the new Spark 900. Wondering why? Because it’s not only lightweight and particularly well-suited to all types of terrain, but it also looks absolutely brilliant. A trail bike with short travel? A ‘downcountry’ bike? Or even a race bike from time to time? Call it what you like. Scott just knows it’s a bloody brilliant mountain bike.

Technologies

Single-pivot suspension

Full-suspension bikes wouldn’t be half as successful without an optimal suspension layout. From the very first moment we sat on the Spark, we fell in love with the single-pivot layout. Even years later, we still believe it’s the best approach for technical cross-country races and fast, crisp singletrack. The Spark’s suspension layout features very specific and proven kinematics, as well as less unsprung mass. The use of a flex pivot on the seatstay is an ideal solution for bikes in this travel range. This gives us a very lightweight system whilst ensuring optimum suspension performance.
Easy access to the shock

Access to the shock via the bottom bracket area is made easier by a flap. This makes adjusting rebound, compression and shock pressure a breeze.

Adjustable head tube angle
On the new Spark, the head angle can be adjusted by 0.6 degrees, either flatter or steeper. This can be done without shortening the cables or bleeding the brakes. All you need to do is dismantle the handlebars, rotate the headset by 180 degrees and reassemble the handlebars.

Syncros Fraser iC Combo
The New Spark is fitted with a completely new Fraser iC Combo from Syncros. Cable integration presents a number of unique challenges, and the Fraser was developed in part to solve these. The designers at Syncros have shaped the handlebar so that the cables run beneath the handlebars and along the sides of the stem before disappearing into the headset via integrated plastic components, ensuring everything remains neat and efficient. This prevents kinks and bends in the cables and ensures a minimalist front end. All our handlebars and stems feature multiple options for computer, light and camera mounts, both on top of and underneath the handlebars.
