An easy and even closure system is guaranteed by the SLW2 dial, the only one with a step-by-step release, which allows a millimetric adjustment of the shoe in a fast and intuitive way. The new Easyfit Climaflex collar combines the extreme flexibility of the Rattler® Gore-Tex membrane with the high thermal insulation of Neoprene, for more mobility and protection.
The wrapping and positioning of the heel are enabled by an anatomic seat and a solid thermoformed counter, in addition to the Arctic 4Layer insole made with Eva + Aluminum + Eva + Pile, which guarantees excellent thermal insulation.
For safety, the 360° reflective inserts provide added visibility on the road.

Super Winterschuhe! Ich habe mehrere Modelle anprobiert (Shimano, Fizik), dieser hier ist mit Abstand der beste. Bei Temperaturen um den Gefrierpunkt mit warmen Socken und Überschuhen sehr warme Füße (>5h Graveltour) .... endlich keine kalten Zehen mehr! ...denke bei guten Plusgeraden auch ohne Überschuhe ausreichend. Schuhe sind sehr bequem, man kommt absolut problemlos rein, entgegen anderer Rezensionen. Schuhe sind eher schmal geschnitten, trage sie daher eine halbe Nummer größer als meine übrigen Fahrradschuhe (Specialized, Fizik) und ca. eine/eineinhalb Nummer größer als reguläre Schuhe, dann passt es gut. Verschlusssystem deutlich besser als einfach Boa System bei Shimano, absolut top, sehr guter Sitz.
I bought these shoes on 02/12/2024 from Bike-Discount, because until then I had been using my summer MTB shoes with neoprene covers for winter tours. After first use the Northwave "winter shoe" (on road bike) in approx. 0 deg my front of the foot was totally frozen, I thought was caused by constraining the boa too much and too thin socks, tried loosening the boa but but remained unchanged i was not able to reheat my foot, I tried it out on my MTB today. with a Smartwool thick socks in between -1 and -5 degrees, the feeling was the same!!! Terrible horror shoes for "winter" biking. How this is possible from a shoe which is dedicated for WINTER use??!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND these shoes for winter use!!! I also think they make shoes for people with soles like chickens, not for normal or wide feet! PS. My summer shoes way better with the neopren cover i tested in -10 degrees and never feelt so cold as with this expensive joke "winter" shoes. PS. I tested it with different socks, the problem is that the shoes are not breathable, my feet were always wet, which is why my feet felt frozen.
Le sto usando da 1 mese e non ho più freddo ai piedi, si perso un pomello del Boa , ho scritto a Bike Discount e su mia richiesta in tre giorni ho avuto gratuitamente un nuovo kit con pomello.
Habe ich im Megastore Bonn gekauft. Top Schuhe endlich keine Kalten Füße mehr,Bequem und schick sind die auch noch . klare Empfehlung.
Habe den auf Herz und Nieren im Wald getestet und ihm ein 2-stündiges Schlamm- und Spritzwasserbad gegönnt. tolle Performance, da er dank der overlap Konstruktion nichts durchlässt. Die Füße bleiben warm, die Sohle gibt mehr Power.
