HFS - HYDRO FORMING SYSTEM
Various processing methods are used to get the best out of aluminium tubes. The most effective method is hydroforming: an aluminium tube is placed in a negative mould and a hot water-oil emulsion is forced through it under high pressure. The result is perfectly formed tubes that make it possible to create beautifully shaped, light and stable aluminium frames.
X-TAPER HEADTUBE
High steering precision is crucial for safe riding behaviour. The X-TAPER HEADTUBE with a larger lower and smaller upper headset diameter increases stiffness in the head tube area without adding unnecessary weight. It is designed for tapered forks and ensures precise, confidence-inspiring handling.
SMOOTH WELDING
In the smooth welding process, weld seams are smoothed by repeated reworking. This produces a flat, clean finish without the typical visual characteristics of TIG welding. The result is a particularly stable and elegant aluminium frame with a high-quality look.
INTERNAL CABLE ROUTING
Shift and brake cables are routed inside the frame. The internal cable routing protects against the effects of weather, ensures a tidy appearance and offers additional aerodynamic advantages.
SMART ENTRY
SMART ENTRY is an internal cable routing system that prevents rattling noises on rough surfaces. Cables, sheaths and lines are kept under tension so that they cannot move. All inserts are interchangeable and compatible with common cable and sheath types.

K-MOUNT

CASTING MOTOR BRACKET
The motor interface is manufactured as a cast part to enable a complex, lightweight and extremely stable connection between the motor and frame. This design increases reliability, improves power transmission and ensures a clean look.
INTERNAL BLOCK SYSTEM
The Internal Block System limits the steering angle in both directions and prevents the fork crown from hitting the down tube in the event of a fall. An integrated rubber coating also protects the frame and fork from damage.
ENERGY GUARD TWIST

Trail Modus
Der Trail-Modus nutzt die gesamten 85 Nm des EP8 Antriebs, um den Fahrer in schwierigen Passagen komfortabel, sicher und zuverlässig zu unterstützen. Der extrem vielseitige Unterstützungsmodus ist von Haus aus optimal abgestimmt und bedarf keiner weiteren Anpassung. Damit kannst du dich voll und ganz auf das Bezwingen der härtesten Trails konzentrieren. Je härter du in die Pedale trittst, desto mehr Unterstützungsleistung steht dir zur Verfügung. Dies bedeutet, dass du genau zum richtigen Zeitpunkt durch die Antriebseinheit unterstützt wirst und immer über die optimale Traktion und Kontrolle verfügst. Ob loser Sand oder steile Anstiege in den Bergen, die Antriebseinheit passt sich immer schnell und selbstständig an, damit du dich komplett auf das Gelände konzentrieren kannst.
