The JAM² SL model series stands for a lightweight full carbon frame - completely designed to minimise weight without sacrificing user-friendliness and stability. A super-compact FAZUA Rdie 60 E support integrated into a design that lets you reach a new high. A fun-orientated geometry with 160/150 mm suspension - agile on the trail without neglecting the stability of the bike. The motor and battery of the JAM² SL are fully integrated. This guarantees optimum protection of the e-drive and ensures that this e-MTB not only feels like a bike without an e-drive, but also looks like one. The sophisticated carbon layout creates the perfect balance between low weight and high rigidity. Focus has opted for a removable battery, which you can easily remove from the underside of the down tube. To open the down tube cover, you can use the Allen key on the thru axle of your JAM² SL. This means you always have the only tool you need to hand. After opening the cover, you can remove the FAZUA ENERGY 430 battery with just one click.
Geometry
The steering angle of the JAM² SL can be easily changed between 64.5° and 65.5° by turning the headset shells. If you choose a steeper steering angle, this results in more agile handling of the bike. The slacker position ensures a more downhill-orientated setting. Adapting the handling of this lightweight e-bike to your own preferences has no influence on the seat angle or other parameters. Thanks to the FLIP CHIP on the rear triangle, you can adjust the geometry of your bike to suit your riding style. The adjustment from 440 to 447 mm changes your entire set-up. If you set the FLIP CHIPs to a long position, the JAM² SL rides more stable and makes steep climbs easier. If you prefer manuals and a more agile geometry, set them to the short position and get that extra kick. Based on these two components, the geometry of the JAM² SL can be customised with four variants: with a slack or steep head angle and long or short chainstays. These options ensure that the geometry of your bike is balanced and tailored to your size.

With the JAM² SL, Focus has reduced the number of F.O.L.D. pivot parts and thus significantly reduced weight. COCKPIT INTEGRATION SOLUTION C.I.S.
C.I.S. stands for Cockpit Integration Solution and brings together all integrated cables and wires in the cockpit of your road, gravel or mountain bike. Focus has developed various C.I.S. stem solutions that meet the requirements of the respective bike category, e.g. an aero stem for the IZALCO MAX or a super short stem for mountain bikes. They all have one thing in common: they route all cables through the stem and headset into the frame and provide perfect functionality for both electronic and mechanical shifting. This gives your cockpit a tidy design and all cables are well protected on the inside.
FLIP CHIP
Different riders have different preferences and different trails may require a different set-up. That's why we want our bike to suit your riding style and the local trails! For nimble handling on playful trails, you can leave the FLIP CHIP in the "HIGH" position and it will give you plenty of agility. If you like it hard and rough and have demanding trails around the corner, set it to "LOW".

Geometry
Solid entry enduro bike with a few minor setup quirks I bought this bike for my 16-year-old son (70 kg) so he could join me on cross-country and enduro rides. It arrived in about 3 weeks. First Impressions & Setup: Unboxing: It comes with cheap plastic pedals in the box, which is handy if you want to mount them and ride immediately, though you'll likely want to upgrade them. Wheels: After adjusting the suspension sag for my son's weight, we did a quick urban trial run (a few bunny hops and riding up/down stairs). The wheels came out of alignment quickly, suggesting the spoke tension wasn't quite sufficient out of the box. I'd recommend tensioning the spokes before your first real ride. Geometry: The bike arrived with the flip-chip set to the longest wheelbase. While incredibly stable, it felt a bit sluggish in tight, technical turns. Flipping it to the shorter position instantly improved the handling and cornering. Suspension Performance: Rear Shock (RockShox): The rear shock lacks progression for a 70 kg rider. With the sag set correctly, it came close to bottoming out on just a moderate technical ride. To fix this, I had to run slightly higher pressure, but it definitely needs 1 or 2 volume spacers (tokens) installed to handle bigger hits properly. Note: I also noticed a visible oil trace on the shock body/leg right from the start, which is something to keep an eye on. The Ultimate Test: We took the bike on a 5-day trip to the Alps to ride proper enduro trails. Despite the minor initial setup adjustments, the bike survived the trip incredibly well with zero mechanical issues. Torque (60Nm) is enough to climb all you can actually climb on MTB, battery (430Wth) was proven for 60 km with 1500m vertical meters using all levels of supports. Overall: A great, capable bike for the price, but be prepared to do some fine-tuning (spoke tension, shock tokens, and flip-chip adjustment) to get it riding perfectly.

First of all, I want to say that the bike is amazing and I am very satisfied with it. I also appreciate that my order was prepared and shipped quickly. However, it took a long time for me to receive it, and the shipping cost was significantly higher compared to other stores.
Ich habe mir das Jam SL 8.7 zuerst bei einem anderen Anbieter bestellt. Es kam beschädigt an und der darauf folgende Service war eine Katastrophe. Zum Glück war es kaputt, denn hier habe ich wesentlich weniger bezahlt und es wurde im tadellosen Zustand geliefert. Ich konnte direkt losfahren, der Akku war auch bereits geladen. Grüße
Agil und leicht wie ein starkes Bio-Trailbike, aber mit Fazua-Boost für die Uphills parat. Die Integration des Antriebs ist erstklassig. Für mich die perfekte Symbiose aus purem Fahrspaß und smarter E-Unterstützung. Absolute Empfehlung!
Was für ein Rad! Für mich passte einfach alles. Es läuft bergauf und bergab reibungslos. Super Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Durch Carbon noch zusätzlich entspannt. Super :)
