Product information "612 Ergowave R Saddle"

The raised rear of the 612 Ergowave R saddle gives more grip and better power transmission. A big advantage is on straight roads and especially uphill. The stronger narrower mid-section and the narrow saddle nose gives more legroom. The proven SQlab ERGOWAVE® form relieves the soft tissue area and prevents energy- consuming bad posture.
I've been riding the 612 Ergowave R for some time now and I'm absolutely delighted with it. Although I unfortunately always sit a little crooked on the bike, the saddle is hardly noticeable, let alone uncomfortable, even after several hours. SQlab has understood that the right distance between the seat humps is the absolutely crucial point for seating comfort on a road bike. SQlab is also convinced that a thin seat pad in combination with very little padding on the saddle is much more comfortable on long journeys than a lot of padding. I can only agree with this opinion. I wouldn't want to be without the saddle and can only advise every sporty rider to convince themselves of the SQlab philosophy.

Shorter - Narrower - Lighter - Faster: this is the 612 Ergowave R saddle from SQlab

The saddle shell is weight and flex optimized down to the last detail. More longitudinal stiffness and perfectly coordinated material flex to the side mean more comfort with less weight at the same time.

The cover is extremely light but also abrasion-resistant and non-slip. The padding is closed-cell and strongly minimised. The comfort comes from the shape and the flex behaviour between rail - shell - foam, which is coordinated as an overall system.

Features - SQlab 612 Ergowave R

  • Unisex - With the SQlab step saddle concept and the SQlab saddle width system, different saddles for men and women are no longer necessary.
  • Ergowave® - The new shape of the SQlab step saddle for a dynamic riding position on the MTB and roadbike. It provides an optimal pressure distribution within the pubic branches for even further increased performance and comfort.
  • Saddle Widths - SQlab saddles are available in 5 different saddle widths. The correct saddle width is determined using the SQlab sit bone measurement method.
  • MaxContact® - saddle nose maximizes the contact area thereby reducing pressure.
  • Water Resistant - Water resistant cover material
