The GRX RX827 utilises the wireless cockpit introduced with SHIMANO’s 2x12-speed groupsets for road and gravel, and, utilising the fully wireless technology of the M9200-series XTR rear derailleur, offers a completely wireless drivetrain designed for performance, durability and versatility. With the RX827, the GRX range now encompasses a wide array of mechanical and electronic shifting options in 1x12-speed and 2x12-speed configurations, enabling riders to tailor their shifting to their individual gravel riding style.

The new GRX 1x12-speed drivetrain combines the RD-RX827 wireless rear derailleur with SHIMANO’s RX825 Di2 DUAL CONTROL shift levers, crankset and brakes from the RX820 series, and an XT 10–51T cassette. This combination delivers SHIMANO’s signature Di2 performance in a sleek, robust 1x12-speed package. Riders can choose between 40T or 42T chainrings and combine these with SHIMANO’s 10-51T MICRO-SPLINE cassettes. Similarly, the RX827 offers an electronic option for mountain bikes and adventure bikes with drop bars that are designed to meet mountain bike crankset standards.
