The GRX brake callipers are reminiscent in design of the SHIMANO flat-mount models from the road bike sector and deliver equally high braking performance. They also have established features such as one-way bleeding and the ICE-TECHNOLOGIES heat management system with brake pads and brake discs with cooling fins for maximum fade resistance.
The fact that SHIMANO can present the GRX as the first gravel-specific component family that is designed for both fast progress and safe bike handling on loose surfaces is the result of an intensive and extensive research, testing and development process that incorporated information and feedback from countless riders who ride on trails, forest roads, gravel tracks and tarmac all over the world.
