The SCN-PP™ Multi-Mirror coating from Scicon Sports is an ultra-thin metal layer on the outside of the lens which, as the name suggests, creates a mirror effect not only visually but also functionally when worn. Depending on the degree of mirroring, multi-mirrored lenses reflect the sun's rays away from the lens surface, reducing the amount of light that reaches the eyes when the glasses are worn and offering 100% UVA and UVB protection.
Photochromic
Photochromic lenses are optical lenses that darken when exposed to certain types of light with sufficient intensity, usually ultraviolet (UV) radiation. In the absence of activating light, the lenses return to their clear state.
UV 400 protection
100% blocking of all light rays up to 400NM, including UVA and UVB rays.
Hydrophobic + Oleophobic
All Scicon Sports goggles are treated with a high-quality hydrophobic and oleophobic treatment, which ensures that water, oil and dirt roll right off your lenses. This treatment also gives the lenses special smudge-resistant properties and at the same time provides additional protection for the multi-mirror coating, which ensures worry-free lens care.
Hard coating
