Calculate frame size
The right size of your hardtail mountain-bike:
The Inside leg length is multiplied by 0.226 and thus you get the theoretical value of the frame size in inch. One inch equals 2.54 cm.
If the theoretical value is in-between two sizes, the following rule of thumb can be applied:
- choose the smaller size when riding athletically
- choose the larger size when riding tour-orientated
How to determine your Inside leg length:
The Inside leg length or stride height is the length of the inside of the leg. The most accurate way to measure your stride length is to use a spirit level and a tape measure or folding rule. Stand barefoot on a flat surface, clamp the spirit level horizontally between your legs and measure the distance from the upper edge of the spirit level to the ground. This value corresponds to your stride length.
Alternatively, you can also determine your frame height based on your height, see the table below. However, the method using inseam length is more accurate.

Product information "SECOND-HAND / Vyron MDS-V.3 Vario seatpost"
This Magura Vyron MDS-V.3 Vario seatpost is a second-hand item with damaged original packaging. The product has various cosmetic flaws, which do not affect its functionality in any way and are shown in the photographs (signs of wear).
The new MAGURA VYRON was developed for only one thing: the ultimate trail fun. If the saddle is too high, you lose control, it is too low, you lack the pressure on the pedal when climbing. With the third evolutionary stage of the VYRON you adapt your riding position intuitively to the challenges of your trail. Without delay. For fun without end. As simple as it works, it is also attached: Plug in, mount the saddle and go!

Driving instead of fumbling! Without cable. Without charging. Just plug in and go: the Vyron MDS-V.3 Vario seatpost from MAGURA
The hydraulics inside are uncompromisingly designed for speed and also the communication between remote and seatpost takes place without delay via Bluetooth. The operating logic corresponds to that of conventional, wired seatposts: as long as the operating lever on the remote is operated, the seatpost can be adjusted. To protect the electronic control unit, the new VYRON MDS-V3 does without a charging socket and relies instead on a sealed electronics cover. A replaceable CR2 lithium battery with a service life of at least one year is used for the power supply. Thanks to the new battery concept, the new VYRON is IP67 certified and thus survives even short dives - and thus even the toughest days on the trail.
Features - MAGURA Vyron MDS-V.3 Vario seat post
- FUN WITHOUT THE FIDDLING -Cross the workshop off your trail map. The new VYRON has no messy cables and is bleed free. Simply insert it into the frame, mount the saddle and you’re off. Save time and money by avoiding the workshop and hitting the trails – where you belong.
- STICK IT IN AND RIDE. HARD - The latest Bluetooth technology ensures delayfree communication between remote and post and an intuitive operating logic. The touch of a button lets you decide how far you adjust the post.
- MORE POWER AT THE PUSH OF A BUTTON! - Speed is what counts! The redesigned hydraulic system and a higher-speed actuator ensure a better flow of oil between the hydraulic chambers. The result is a seatpost that adjusts at lightning speed.
- SHY ABOUT GETTING WET? DON’T BE - Mud and dirt are not just road surfaces. They are another way for the VYRON to prove its worth. Its IP67* rating means it can withstand short periods of immersion in water and is ready for even the toughest days on the trail.
- ENDLESS ENERGY - The new VYRON is uncompromisingly maintenance free. To protect the electronics from water and dust, the seatpost doesn’t have a charging port but instead has a battery that sits behind a sealed cover. The replaceable CR2 lithium battery can be found in any electronics store and powers the VYRON for up to one year. Simple. Perfect.
- PERFORMANCE IS ALL IN THE DETAILS - Find the right length for any situation. The VYRON is available in two diameters and four travel variants. Change the base of the slider tube to easily adjust the VYRON’s travel from 175 mm to 150 mm and from 125 mm to 100 mm. This saves money, increases flexibility and ensures that the VYRON can be quickly and easily mounted on other bikes.
- FIRST THUMBS UP, THEN THUMBS UP - The VYRON remote can be ergonomically placed on the underside of the handlebar, just like the gear lever on the right-hand side. It is easily accessible with the thumb and can be mounted directly on the brake master with the MAGURA Shiftmix clamp. So you can have a handle – and a hand – on everything.
- GOOD? VALUE! - High end doesn’t have to be high price. Thanks to its attractive RRP, the trail isn’t the only place where the VYRON leaves the competition behind. What’s priceless is the fun you’ll have using it.
- THE BEST SADDLE POSITION: YOURS - Technology that sits right: with 0 mm setback, the new VYRON provides the optimum saddle position for most frames. It’s perfect for anyone who’s not like everyone.
