Calculate frame size
The right size of your hardtail mountain-bike:
The Inside leg length is multiplied by 0.226 and thus you get the theoretical value of the frame size in inch. One inch equals 2.54 cm.
If the theoretical value is in-between two sizes, the following rule of thumb can be applied:
- choose the smaller size when riding athletically
- choose the larger size when riding tour-orientated
How to determine your Inside leg length:
The Inside leg length or stride height is the length of the inside of the leg. The most accurate way to measure your stride length is to use a spirit level and a tape measure or folding rule. Stand barefoot on a flat surface, clamp the spirit level horizontally between your legs and measure the distance from the upper edge of the spirit level to the ground. This value corresponds to your stride length.
Alternatively, you can also determine your frame height based on your height, see the table below. However, the method using inseam length is more accurate.

What are Rainlegs?
Effective rain protection
Rainlegs is the product name for an innovative form of rainwear. It's that simple: Rainlegs are light and easy to carry. For example, you can wear them as a small belt around your waist. When it starts raining, you roll out the Rainlegs and fasten them with a Velcro fastener. Your thighs will now stay comfortably warm and dry.
Whom are Rainlegs suitable for?
Rainlegs are also suitable for recreational cyclists and intensive athletes. Experience shows that the thighs in particular are exposed to the most rain. You don't always have the opportunity to change at school or at work. People who cycle to school or work every day no longer need to get into their standard rain pants with shoes, because they can now keep their thighs and clothing dry and clean with Rainlegs. Even the growing group of recreational cyclists or sporty racers can now keep their muscles pleasantly warm and dry so that they can perform better. Due to the excellent freedom of movement, Rainlegs are also suitable for other outdoor athletes. Runners, rowers, ice-skaters, riders and Nordic walkers are also very satisfied with the use of these thigh protectors.

Light and small to carry around, they protect the legs where it is necessary when it's raining but not pouring. I still have to test them in winter, but I think they might work very well to protect the upper legs from the cold.

Average rating of 4 out of 5 stars
So etwa alle 2 Jahre müssen neue her.

Average rating of 2 out of 5 stars
So. Tja schade irgendwie. Wie gesagt: Keine gute Idee.
