With 170 mm of travel, the Fox 38 Factory – featuring a FIT GRIP2 cartridge and premium Kashima coating – isn’t just a visual treat; technically speaking, this is Fox’s flagship model. With the finely adjustable GRIP 2 cartridge, you can adjust the HSC (High-Speed Compression) and LSC (Low-Speed Compression) independently of one another and, in combination with the seamlessly integrated Fox Float X2 Factory, optimise the suspension for any terrain. With the Newmen Evolution SL A.30 wheelset, you’re getting our test riders’ favourite: a quiet FADE hub, 30 mm rim width and a modern rim profile provide the perfect base for your tyres. Here we’ve gone for Maxxis Assegai and Minion DHR II tyres with a soft 3C MaxxTerra rubber compound and EXO+ casing for optimum grip on your favourite trail. The drivetrain couldn’t be more modern: with the brand-new SRAM Eagle drivetrain featuring components from the GX and X01 series, the wireless AXS POD controller not only gives you a super-clean cockpit – the crisp gear changes will win you over in no time. What does that mean? A flatter head angle of 63.85°, increased reach and a steeper seat angle of 76.65° practically invite you to tackle the world’s toughest enduro trails – and not just to focus on pace – riding enjoyment is also right at the top of the agenda. Hardly any other bike is as versatile as the JAB MX: playful, nimble and yet with plenty in reserve when pushing the limits. The new edition comes in a ‘mullet’ setup with up to 170 mm of front suspension travel, an adjustable head angle via an adjustable headset, storage integrated into the down tube and many other details.

When developing the new JAB MX, the main focus was on adapting the geometry. Increased reach, a longer wheelbase and a flatter (and adjustable via an angle headset) head angle.
