The Bosch Performance Line CX (BDU384Y) represents a new level of riding dynamics and agility in the e-bike segment. It is designed to be powerful, light and quiet - with a clear focus on maximum uphill flow and a natural, controlled riding experience.

Even in its standard state, the drive unit delivers a balanced triad of performance, efficiency and range with 85 Nm torque, 600 watts of power and 340 % support. The system is complemented by a low weight of just 2.8 kg - around 100 g lighter than its predecessor - and therefore optimised for both sporty and efficient use.

Bosch is significantly expanding this performance level with the new Performance Upgrade 2.0. From May 2026, the performance of the Drive Unit can be individually increased: more power, higher torque and a significantly increased support factor are available - directly controllable via the Bosch eBike Flow app.

The free software update enables a noticeable increase in performance for compatible systems. The maximum assistance increases to up to 600%, while the peak power of up to 750 watts remains available over a longer period of time. In addition, the riding modes can be customised - precisely tailored to the area of use and riding style.

The upgrade is most effective in the lower speed range and ensures particularly powerful acceleration from a standing start. The legally prescribed assistance limit of 25 km/h remains unchanged.

With the upgrade, the Performance Line CX achieves a maximum torque of up to 120 Nm, a motor output of up to 750 watts and an assistance output of up to 600%. This further sharpens the sporty character of the platform without losing control or the natural riding feel.

eMTB+ mode
With the built-in "Dynamic Control", you ride with full control, even if you have increased your performance values. In steep, bumpy riding situations, you have superior propulsion and on loose or wet surfaces it is like traction control.

eMTB mode and Extended Boost
The eMTB mode reacts progressively to you and recognises how much power you want at lightning speed based on your pedal pressure - dynamically, with maximum traction and always in control. With the integrated Extended Boost, all it takes is a targeted kick on the pedal and the Drive Unit pushes you effortlessly over steps and stones.

Push assist and hill start assist
With the push assist, you can easily push your eMTB, while the Drive Unit automatically adjusts the pushing speed to the gradient and surface. In addition, the hill start assist enables a controlled and high-traction start, even on steep terrain. Hill Hold is active in both cases: Your eMTB stays in place and does not roll back unexpectedly.

Bosch eBike ABS Pro
ABS Pro is ideal for professional eBikers: designed for fast, sporty downhill riding and braking. You can fully utilise your braking skills and still feel how the system increases performance.

eShift with TRP
You can decide whether you want eShift with TRP to shift gears automatically for you or whether you want to change gears yourself on varied terrain with fast manoeuvres - simply at the touch of a button. With eShift, gear changes are efficient and precise.

PowerMore 250
Compact and weighing just 1.5 kilograms, the range extender can be easily attached to the water bottle holder. It can be combined with all batteries in the smart system. Please find out in advance whether you can use the range extender for your eBike.

Customised riding modes
Your trail, your riding experience, your mode: With the help of four parameters, you can easily customise the riding modes to your needs using the slider in the eBike Flow app. Support, dynamics, maximum torque and maximum speed - you decide what you need.

Use the eBike Flow app to download new functions and updates for components such as the battery or motor and send them to your eBike via Bluetooth. This keeps it up to date and gives you more options.

Record activities
Record your tour and fitness data as soon as you set off. For iPhone users, Activity Tracking also synchronises all data automatically with Apple Health if required. If you take a break, the recording stops automatically.

Customise riding modes
Customise the riding mode exactly to your needs: You can fine-tune the Eco, Tour, Sport and Turbo riding modes so that they offer you more support or consume less power.

Keep an eye on everything
Get a quick overview of everything important on the home screen. Whether battery status, remaining range, distance travelled or next service appointment - the home screen shows you everything you need to know with constantly updated eBike data.

Developed with ergonomics experts
Purion 200 is mounted on the left-hand side of the handlebar, close to the thumb. Thanks to its curved shape, the combination of control unit and display fits beautifully on the handlebars. If the plus and minus buttons are aligned correctly - i.e. almost vertically - this means more comfort for you when operating the system and faster reading of the riding data. You can control your eBike with just one thumb movement and change the riding mode or the display, for example. We developed Purion 200 together with the ergonomics experts from SQlab to optimise the combination of functionality, comfort and design.

Optimum readability
A high resolution, greater color depth, a clear structure and easy-to-understand symbols ensure that you can quickly read and understand the information on Purion 200. The integrated ambient light sensor automatically adjusts the brightness of the display depending on the ambient light. This makes it very easy to read even in sunshine and darkness.

Powerful display combinations
If you want more information or a larger display for even better readability, you can use another display in addition to Purion 200: Have the Kiox 300 or Kiox 500 fitted by a specialist dealer or use your smartphone as a second display using SmartphoneGrip and the eBike Flow app. The additional new main display is controlled via the Purion 200 buttons. Purion 200 continues to show you the information that was last selected: For example, you can display the current speed on Purion 200 while your main display navigates you.

Wide range of functions
Purion 200 offers numerous functions to help you ride and arrive better. In addition to basic functions such as switching your eBike and lights on and off, you can also activate the smart push-assist function using the Purion 200 buttons, for example, to make it easier to push your eBike when walking. At the touch of a button, you can change the display in seconds and simply select the information that is important to you at the moment: for example, keep an eye on the remaining range, see how far you have already travelled or check your cadence.

Intelligently connected
Five buttons, one display and lots of options: Purion 200 is networked in the smart system and connects the eBike to the eBike Flow app. This provides you with digital functions that you can easily activate and use via the app - e.g. for more theft protection, recording your activities or the option to customise riding modes to your needs. Purion 200 is also the interface for transferring updates to your eBike. So it is always up to date.

Stylish eBike design
Like all Bosch PowerTubes, the PowerTube 600 / 800 is perfectly integrated into the frame. An attractive eBike design and high capacity - a combination without compromise. A new, lighter housing has been used for the battery. Provided the eBike manufacturer has prepared the eBike for this, it can be easily replaced - for more or less range.

High safety standards. Enormous mileage, long service life, reliable handling - the lithium-ion battery is equipped with a battery management system that protects the battery cells from overload.

User-friendly handling
