The new SmartEVO Compound uses a combination of 3 different polymers, each offering a specific performance characteristic and together providing a perfect balance between different characteristics: the ultimate goal of all tire engineers. To bring this project to such a great result, Pirelli used its extraordinary experience, grown over more than 100 years in motorsport, and combined it with its extensive cycling expertise and its own aspiration to always work at the highest level. The profound knowledge and chemical know-how enabled Pirelli's material engineers and chemists to use a ternary polymer blend in an advanced way, forming the basis for the "smart" riding behavior, excellent grip in wet and dry conditions, and superior rolling performance. A performance package suitable for all modern racing bikes and terrain types and designed to deliver full performance in every situation, from amateur races to long-distance adventures to World Tour classics.
SpeedCORE
The highest-performing Tubeless Ready option in our road range consists of a thin, airtight layer of rubber compound with aramid particles covering the inner part of the tire. The improved flexibility of the rubber compound makes the tire faster and smoother, while the aramid guarantees better puncture protection. The casing is completed by a 120-tpi nylon fabric and an aramid puncture protection. SPEEDCORE is a patent-pending technology. The SPEEDCORE technology is used exclusively for the TLR models of the P ZERO Race product line. SPEEDCORE is the choice of World Tour Factory Teams
TechLINER Road
The TechLINER is a tubeless, road-specific 120-tpi casing with a rubber lining for better pressure retention. With this feature, you can ride fast while relying on a reliable technology designed for all-round performance and endurance applications.
