Ich gebe dem Reifen volle 5 Sterne! Aufgrund der ganzen Horrormeldungen bzgl. der Montierbarkeit war ich sehr vorsichtig, trotz meiner mehr als ca. 10 jährigen Erfahrungen mit Tubelessreifen, primär im MTB Bereich. Aber, jeder der nach Lehrbuch vorgeht, sollte das gut hinbekommen: 1.) Reifen aufziehen, am Ventil als letztes überziehen! 2.) Reifen, Flanken und Felgenhorn (nach Reifen Montage) "fett" mir Reifemontageflüssigkeit (z.B. Schwalbe) oder richtig fetter Seifenlauge einreiben (bis es schäumt!) 3.) Mit Tubeless Kanone befüllen 4.) Plopp drinnen... was will Mann mehr! Ja, geht nicht leicht über das Felgenhorn, aber hatte schon schlimmere MTB Reifen! Fahrleistung bisher absolut Spitze. Bin ihn beim Röhn300, bei allen Bedingungen, gefahren. Weckt vertrauen und wirkt sehr komfortabel. Meiner in 32er breite baut sich auf einer MW25 Felge auf 34,5mm Breite auf! SUPER Ein Direktvergleich zum All-Star GP5000 habe ich nicht. Der Reifen ist aber sehr kompfortabel und weckt vertrauen. Um eine Auskunft über die Pannenanfälligkeit zu machen, ist es noch verfrüht. Der Rest passt bis jetzt, in perfektem Maße!
The tyres are undersized and cannot be fitted to my Fulcrum carbon wheels. I tried using standard techniques (i.e. hands/thumbs, tyre levers, soap solution, gathering the bead into the central channel). There was just no way to get them onto the wheels. In the past I have used GP5000 and GP5000 S TR and never had a problem fitting tyres to my Fulcrum wheels. Very disappointed and I will go back to GP5000 S TR.
Absolute top tire. Pirelli nailed it. Super grip, even when it’s wet. You can corner like a maniac and that gives you a real advantage in races or just more safety on group rides. Mounting wasn’t harder than any other TLR tire. It depends on your wheelset too. Feels great on the bike. I ride it at 4 bar on hookless rims and feels great. Each year more of my colleagues are riding Pirelli as well. Top.
Die Reifen (700x30C, mit TPU-Schlauch) fahren sich sehr angenehm, gefühlt rollen sie gut und liegt komfortabel auf der Straße. Die Montage auf Newmen-Felgen ist mir schwer gefallen und hat lange gedauert aber am Ende ging es ohne Spezialwerkzeug mit normalen Kunststoff-Reifenhebern. Ein Reifen ist erst nach mehrfachen Aufpumpen / Luftablassen richtig rund gelaufen.
Reifen Top Montage Flop. Dermaßen schwierig zu montierender Reifen
Als jahrelanger Fan des Conti GP 5000 wollte ich einmal etwas neues probieren und hab ein bisschen investiert. Der Conti ist schon nahe an der Perfektion eines TR Reifens, der P Zero schiebt sich aber noch davor! Grip 10/10 Komfort 11/10 Durchschlagsschutz 9/10 Haltbarkeit 8/10 Das einzige bei dem der Conti anscheinend die Nase vorne hat ist die Haltbarkeit, auch wenn ich mir dazu noch kein abschließendes Urteil erlauben möchte. Vor allem der Komfort als 30er mit ca. 4bar bei 70kg ist für mich absolut einzigartig. Von mir gibt es eine ganz klare Kaufempfehlung!
