With the Damp Evo clipless pedal sole, which offers a natural rubber tread for extra grip, it will be particularly pleasant to get off the bike and go on small exploratory tours. The EVA insole provides optimal shock absorption, and the cleat attachment is recessed 35 mm into the sole.
The upper is made of breathable ripstop mesh and features TPU inserts on the toe and heel to provide impact protection. A new pad at the top of the tongue enhances comfort, and the laces are complemented by an additional hook-and-loop strap.

Nimmt man den Schuh eine Nummer größer, ist dieser eine halbe Nummer zu groß. Ich hatte vorher den Escape Evo(ohne 2) mit einer hellen Sohle, der bot etwas mehr Raum für den Vorderfuß. Diesen Schuh fand ich bequemer, leider hatte dieser einen Defekt und wurde durch einen Escape Evo 2 ersetzt. Zum reinen Radfahren o.k., aber nicht für kombinierte Rad- und einfache Berganstiege.
Der Schuh ist ohne Zweifel sehr komfortabel und verspricht, was über ihn geschrieben ist. Allerdings gibt es einen Stern Abzug, da er etwas klein ausfällt und ich ihn besser eine halbe Größe größer geordert hätte.
