Calculate frame size
The right size of your hardtail mountain-bike:
The Inside leg length is multiplied by 0.226 and thus you get the theoretical value of the frame size in inch. One inch equals 2.54 cm.
If the theoretical value is in-between two sizes, the following rule of thumb can be applied:
- choose the smaller size when riding athletically
- choose the larger size when riding tour-orientated
How to determine your Inside leg length:
The Inside leg length or stride height is the length of the inside of the leg. The most accurate way to measure your stride length is to use a spirit level and a tape measure or folding rule. Stand barefoot on a flat surface, clamp the spirit level horizontally between your legs and measure the distance from the upper edge of the spirit level to the ground. This value corresponds to your stride length.
Alternatively, you can also determine your frame height based on your height, see the table below. However, the method using inseam length is more accurate.

Product information "Rear Fender medium"
Initially designed to overcome the problem of fitting mudguards to a bike with a dropper seat post the Rear Mudhugger works well on all bikes, providing they have disc brakes.
However, attaching the Hugger to the seat stays also overcomes all of the problems normally associated with rear mudguards. They do not move out of line, get in the way getting on or off the bike, do not foul rear suspension travel, and are robust enough to take the rough and tumble of modern trail riding demands.

Munufacture does not mention 26" among compatible wheels. Looks awkward on a hardtail.

Doubled up this fender as a pair on my 2019 Scalpel, and had to trim up the lower fender to accommodate passing through the swing arm. Purpose is to protect both my swing bearings and the drive train during these muddy winter days. Couple with a deflector in front of my crank, they reduce the amount of grit and debris slung from the wheels onto expensive and sometimes hard to replace parts. The pro of the fender is that the wheel size is usually less than the diameter of the fender, but doesn't detract from the clearance because of it being mounted directly to the rear triangle instead of inside like popular fold up mud guards. This helps to a greater degree with those bikes with little clearance between the tire and triangle. I took away a star because of the way the fender is molded, it leaves a huge gap that nullifies the effort to protect the bearings and drive train, requiring an additional application of tape or some material to block the gap. Great idea that needs some improvement, but highly recommended, especially for e-mtbs with big fat tires, and little clearance to the rear triangle.

Super Schutzblech, einfache Montage.

This fender won't win any beauty contest, but if you are looking for one of the most effective rear fenders, don't look any further. It's sturdy and stable and doesn't flap around when attacking the trails. Now I come home with a clean and dry buttocks and back :-) Mounting is pretty straightforward with the included tie straps. I only wish they would include some more of them. Frame protection is also included.

Top Produkt!

Does a great job as a rear fender especially on bikes with a FS system and a drop post seat. Actually is the one out of two that can do this job till now. The others is Zefal RS 75. Needs thought a better solution for its frame fitment that now is based on straps. A solution like the RS75 will give it less noise (it is low) and no need for frame elf-adhesive guards.
