Calculate frame size
The right size of your hardtail mountain-bike:
The Inside leg length is multiplied by 0.226 and thus you get the theoretical value of the frame size in inch. One inch equals 2.54 cm.
If the theoretical value is in-between two sizes, the following rule of thumb can be applied:
- choose the smaller size when riding athletically
- choose the larger size when riding tour-orientated
How to determine your Inside leg length:
The Inside leg length or stride height is the length of the inside of the leg. The most accurate way to measure your stride length is to use a spirit level and a tape measure or folding rule. Stand barefoot on a flat surface, clamp the spirit level horizontally between your legs and measure the distance from the upper edge of the spirit level to the ground. This value corresponds to your stride length.
Alternatively, you can also determine your frame height based on your height, see the table below. However, the method using inseam length is more accurate.

- Rather the next frame in size when riding tour-orientated
- Deduct approx. 5 cm (or 2 inches respectively) of the theoretical size when using spring-mounted seat posts.

Product information "HighRoller III WT 27.5x2.40" EXO+ TR 3C MaxxGrip 60 E-25 Folding tire"
While the open center lugs penetrate deep into wet or soft ground and ensure reliable grip and effective braking power, the large side lugs can withstand even the highest loads in extreme lean angles. Thanks to the 3C MaxxGrip compound, the High Roller III impresses with excellent cornering control, even on hard surfaces.

Technologies
3C MaxxGrip
The rubber compound that has made MAXXIS tires the reference in MTB downhill sport. 3C MAXXGRIP offers the ultimate grip and the best damping properties for incomparable traction and performance in downhill races.
Tubeless Ready (TR)
Tubeless tires have many advantages: You can ride with less air pressure. This gives you better traction and reduces rolling resistance. And where there is no inner tube, the risk of punctures is also reduced. MAXXIS TR tires are better prepared for mounting with sealing milk than other "tubeless ready" tires. The bead of our TR tires is completely covered with a layer of rubber, just like a real UST tubeless tire. This means that tubeless fitting is successful on all rims with standard dimensions from the very first inflation and with little liquid.
EXO+ Protection
The new EXO+ carcass is based on a 60TPI carcass coated with an abrasion-resistant rubber. There is a reinforced and rubberized EXO puncture protection layer on the tire sidewalls and a short butyl insert over the tire bead. This means that tires with EXO+ protection are built for aggressive trail riding and lighter enduro races and are particularly suitable for the higher torque and weight of E-MTBs.
Wide Trail Casing
The Wide Trail (WT) construction optimizes the tread layout and tire shape on today's wider rims. Traditional tires are developed for narrow rims and have a too angular shape on wide rims, resulting in less than optimal performance.
WT tires are optimized for an inner rim width of 35 mm, but work excellently on all rims with an inner dimension between 30 and 40 mm.
