Calculate frame size
The right size of your hardtail mountain-bike:
The Inside leg length is multiplied by 0.226 and thus you get the theoretical value of the frame size in inch. One inch equals 2.54 cm.
If the theoretical value is in-between two sizes, the following rule of thumb can be applied:
- choose the smaller size when riding athletically
- choose the larger size when riding tour-orientated
How to determine your Inside leg length:
The Inside leg length or stride height is the length of the inside of the leg. The most accurate way to measure your stride length is to use a spirit level and a tape measure or folding rule. Stand barefoot on a flat surface, clamp the spirit level horizontally between your legs and measure the distance from the upper edge of the spirit level to the ground. This value corresponds to your stride length.
Alternatively, you can also determine your frame height based on your height, see the table below. However, the method using inseam length is more accurate.

The concave shape provides a solid, stable connection between the feet and the pedal, while the smooth central surface increases comfort underfoot and offers no irritation when the going gets tough. The new front and rear arches provide a more even contact area on the 105x106 mm platform, providing extra stability and support on demanding trails. Exceptional grip and traction
Bike control starts with the connection, and your pedals are one of the crucial touch points. With 8 high-quality pins per side, strategically placed for maximum traction, Trail Roc pedals keep your feet firmly planted on any terrain. Raised outer pins provide extra grip where you need it most and ensure impressive stability over roots and through mud. The sharp edges of the pins are designed to dig into the rubber soles for rock-solid grip. The symmetrical design and pin placement keep your feet firmly planted on the pedal, allowing you to ride even faster with total control.
Built to last
The lightweight yet incredibly robust Trail Roc pedals are built to last. Weighing just 224g per pedal, they feature a long, oversized axle for increased resilience and superior leverage - perfect for technical trails and jumps. High-quality components, including two double-sealed bearings, an aluminum bushing and a double sealing system, ensure smooth, reliable operation while protecting against dirt and moisture. Each pedal is made in France, so we control the manufacturing process from A to Z and can offer you the durability and precision you expect from LOOK.
Maintenance made easy
Trail Roc pedals are built to last, meaning maintenance is as effortless as riding. The newly designed pins are cleverly recessed into the pedal body to protect them from impact and abrasion. This also makes them particularly easy to replace if necessary. The axle and bearings are pre-greased during assembly to ensure smooth operation right from the start. With easy-to-find spare parts such as bearings and pins, you can keep your pedals in top condition for years to come: less time in the workshop, more time on the trail.
Style meets substance
The new Trail Roc pedals are available in three different colors, offering something for every rider. Choose the classic black for a sleek look or to complement a colorful bike. Opt for Hope Green, inspired by the towering redwood forests and legendary, technical trails of the North Shore. And for those who prefer a retro look, the vibrant purple brings a touch of 90s flair to your setup. No matter your style, the Trail Roc pedals combine performance with personality and make sure you stand out in the park or on the trails.
