The G.JET is Gaerne's latest development in the field of performance-orientated road cycling shoes and was developed and tested in collaboration with professional athletes. The shoe combines state-of-the-art technologies, low weight and maximum power transmission to enable maximum performance on demanding road stages.
Based on the sporty G.PRO FIT last, the G.JET offers a close-fitting, race-orientated fit for optimum pedal control and direct power transmission. The narrower, performance-orientated shape ensures high stability and precise support, even under intensive strain. The innovative G.Frametex upper material has been specially developed to combine stability and lightness. Strategically placed laser perforations improve ventilation and keep feet cool and dry even during intense rides.
The INFIT CLOSURE SYSTEM 1.0 with two BOA® Li2 twist locks enables zone-specific adjustment of the fit. The asymmetric construction improves stability while pedalling, reduces pressure points and optimises power transmission. The BOA® Li2 dials offer precise micro-adjustment and a non-slip surface for easy operation. The COMFORT FIT TONGUE 1.0 with variable padding increases comfort and supports breathability. The construction is complemented by the INTEGRATED ANTI SLIP HEEL CUP 1.0, which reduces unwanted movement and improves support.
The anatomical insole provides targeted support for the heel and midfoot area and, together with the ventilation openings, ensures a pleasant shoe climate. The quick-drying material prevents moisture build-up and increases comfort on long rides. The GAERNE EPS Lightweight Full Carbon Sole 12.0 is ultra-light and extremely stiff to ensure maximum efficiency in power transmission. Four ventilation openings improve air circulation, while replaceable heel pads and individually adjustable cleat positions offer additional functionality. With a stiffness index of 12, the G.JET is clearly aimed at performance-orientated riders.

COMFORT FIT TONGUE
The tension-covering tongue is perforated to improve air exchange. It is also padded with a soft lining to provide the foot with unrivalled comfort.
HEEL CUP
Improved anatomically moulded heel cup made of non-deformable plastic. The heel cup provides a firm hold, is non-slip and stabilises the tendons. Reflective inserts on the back ensure better visibility in low light conditions. Air inlets improve temperature equalisation.
