EPS LIGHT WEIGHT CARBON FIBER MTB SOLE
Gaerne technology combined with the know-how of Michelin’s designers and technicians gave birth to the new EPS Light Weight Carbon Fiber MTB sole, offering the right mix of performance, durability, strength and light weight.
Its structure is made up of carbon to provide excellent stiffness and power in pedaling. Michelin rubber tread combines a compound designed to balance performance and abrasion resistance – also in extreme conditions – with a design profile which allows for excellent hold and traction. The large distance between the treads allows better self-cleaning and instant mud shedding.
For riders who need even more grip, two holes in the toe cup allow the fixing of screw-on and interchangeable cleats. Tested by the best bikers, this sole represents the pinnacle in terms of technology, innovation and functional quality.
HIGH COMFORT INSOLE
The new HIGH COMFORT INSOLE is ultra lightweight and offers great comfort, breathability and is replaceable.
CLOSURE SYSTEM BOA Li2
The patented closure system BOA Li2® consists of micro adjustable reels and cable made of stainless steel. The combination of these elements allows the rider to obtain uniform fastening, no pressure points and due to the absence of Velcro straps, greater circulation of air on the front of the foot is possible.
HEEL CUP
All-new injection-molded plastic anatomic heel-cup will not deform or weaken. Anti-tendonitis form with internal non-slip treatment for the best foot stability and control. Reflective inserts provide maximum visibility in low-light conditions.
COMFORT FIT TONGUE
The shoe’s tongue is perforated for better internal airflow and features a high-tech cushioning layer for increased comfort.
