One helmet, two options: the Targon MIPS from Abus
The Targon modular full-face helmet is designed for anyone who gives it their all off-road. Whether it’s tricky trails, steep drops or fast sections – in full-face mode, it gives you the protection you need, even when things get challenging. Ideal for the bike park, on holiday or on your local trails!
Half-shell or full-face? With the innovative Speed Latch System™, the choice is yours. Simply remove the chin guard to let in more air. You can carry the chin guard comfortably on your arm or bike handlebars. Once you’ve reached the top, reattach the chin guard and enjoy full-coverage protection for your head and face on the descent. Thanks to the Speed Latch System’s easy-to-use mechanism, the chin guard can be attached quickly and without any jamming or jerking. And practical features such as the Vario Pads and the Zoom Rapid Fit adjustment system ensure an optimal fit whilst riding.
The Targon meets the ASTM F1952-22 standard, an additional test specifically for downhill helmets. It also holds EN 1078 certification for Europe and complies with the CPSC standard for the USA and Canada. The MIPS version offers you additional protection against rotational forces on technical trails and fast descents.
