Calculate frame size
The right size of your hardtail mountain-bike:
The Inside leg length is multiplied by 0.226 and thus you get the theoretical value of the frame size in inch. One inch equals 2.54 cm.
If the theoretical value is in-between two sizes, the following rule of thumb can be applied:
- choose the smaller size when riding athletically
- choose the larger size when riding tour-orientated
How to determine your Inside leg length:
The Inside leg length or stride height is the length of the inside of the leg. The most accurate way to measure your stride length is to use a spirit level and a tape measure or folding rule. Stand barefoot on a flat surface, clamp the spirit level horizontally between your legs and measure the distance from the upper edge of the spirit level to the ground. This value corresponds to your stride length.
Alternatively, you can also determine your frame height based on your height, see the table below. However, the method using inseam length is more accurate.

Zipp XPLR SW Carbon wheelset
The Zipp 303 XPLR SW wheelset has the size to take on your biggest gravel goals. And how big exactly? This wheel is the fastest on unpaved surfaces - not least thanks to its mega-wide rim, which can be seamlessly combined with approved gravel tyres.* Most gravel wheels are modified versions of existing road bike wheels that focus primarily on stiffness and low weight. Zipp takes a different approach. On gravel, wind resistance and friction slow the rider down just as much as the vibrations caused by the uneven surfaces. To counteract this, Zipp has applied its Total System Efficiency design philosophy specifically to the challenges of gravel. The wide rim profile increases the tyre volume and thus enables lower tyre pressures without sacrificing stability. This means you dampen vibrations from the ground while maintaining the necessary grip for corners and traction for steep climbs. The rim profile also creates a seamless transition to the gravel tyres and therefore efficient aerodynamics on gravel. And despite its width, the 303 XPLR SW wheelset remains lightweight so that you can experience those fulfilling days in the saddle as quickly and refreshed as possible.
Features
- Fastest race wheel for gravel, with tubeless and hookless rim profile
- Ultra-wide inner profile for lower rolling resistance, suitable for pressures below 30psi (2.1 bar)
- The wide and high profile can be seamlessly integrated into gravel tyres and increases aerodynamic efficiency
- Applies the Zipp Total System Efficiency to high-performance gravel tyres
- The ZR1 DB hub set developed in Germany has an improved seal design and faster response behaviour thanks to 66 points of engagement of the freehub body.
- Maximum tyre pressure 3.45 bar (50 psi)
- *THE 303 XPLR SW IS ONLY COMPATIBLE WITH APPROVED TYRES. The Goodyear XPLR Slick and Goodyear XPLR Inter are specially developed and optimised for the 303 XPLR SW

Goodyear XPLR Inter designed for Zipp
The Goodyear XPLR Inter is part of a wheel and tyre system that is changing the gravel game. Designed for Zipp's ultra-wide 303 XPLR S and SW wheels, this versatile gravel tyre offers a fast wheel and tyre combination for any gravel terrain. Suitable for dry to moderate conditions.
More control and efficiency: The Goodyear XPLR Inter for mixed terrain
Gravel wheel and tyre systems today are usually slightly stronger versions of what is available for the road: light, stiff, narrow and aerodynamic. The problem is that riding on gravel leads to damaging vibrations that slow you down and tire you out over time. In addition, gravel tyres usually negate the aerodynamic advantages of traditionally narrow road rims. The slick tyre is designed to measure 40 mm on the 303 XPLR wheel.
The new XPLR wheel and tyre system takes a completely new approach and optimises the dimensions of the components to achieve the fastest setup on the market. In addition to the unrivalled aero advantages for gravel, the resulting width of the rim also allows for lower tyre pressure, which helps to filter vibrations and thus save additional energy.
The XPLR Inter offers the most versatile gravel setup with 303 XPLR and can be ridden in most situations. Its compact centre tread ensures fast rolling, while the larger side blocks provide grip and confidence in corners. The lightweight and supple construction improves ride quality. The M:Wall reinforcements in the sidewalls provide puncture protection against cuts and punctures, allowing the rider to run the lowest possible air pressure. Finally, the dimensions of the tyre beads are designed to ensure comfortable mounting and a secure grip on Zipp TSS rims. Only approved tyres can be used on the XPLR wheels.
Features
- Lightweight carcass ensures a comfortable ride
- M:Wall protection prevents cuts and reduces the risk of bruising
- Optimised construction and geometry for the Zipp 303 XPLR. The versatile tread pattern is suitable for most gravel situations in all conditions.
- Dynamic:UHP compound improves grip and reduces rolling resistance
- Tubeless Complete and Dual Angle bead ensure secure grip on XPLR rims
- Developed for 45 mm on a Zipp 32 mm TSS rim
