Calculate frame size
The right size of your hardtail mountain-bike:
The Inside leg length is multiplied by 0.226 and thus you get the theoretical value of the frame size in inch. One inch equals 2.54 cm.
If the theoretical value is in-between two sizes, the following rule of thumb can be applied:
- choose the smaller size when riding athletically
- choose the larger size when riding tour-orientated
How to determine your Inside leg length:
The Inside leg length or stride height is the length of the inside of the leg. The most accurate way to measure your stride length is to use a spirit level and a tape measure or folding rule. Stand barefoot on a flat surface, clamp the spirit level horizontally between your legs and measure the distance from the upper edge of the spirit level to the ground. This value corresponds to your stride length.
Alternatively, you can also determine your frame height based on your height, see the table below. However, the method using inseam length is more accurate.

Frame-size in cm: multiply your Inside leg length by the factor 0.61. Frame size in inch: multiply your Inside leg length by the factor 0.24.If the theoretical value lies between two sizes, the following rule of thumb can be applied:
- Rather the smaller frame size when riding sportsmanlikely
- Rather the next frame in size when riding tour-orientated
- Deduct approx. 5 cm (or 2 inches respectively) of the theoretical size when using spring-mounted seat posts.

Product information "202 NSW CL Carbon rear wheel"
Zipp 202 NSW rear wheel - ultra-light carbon wheel for climbing, aero efficiency & maximum control. Tubeless-compatible, 35 mm profile, ZR1 SL hub with ceramic bearings for direct power transmission and top performance.
Zipp 202 NSW rear wheel - Ultralight carbon wheel for maximum climbing performance
The Zipp 202 NSW rear wheel combines an extremely low system weight with a highly developed carbon layup that is specifically designed for stiffness in the spoke area and impact resistance on the rim. The 35 mm high rim ensures a good balance between aerodynamics and handling, allowing both climbs and fast descents to be mastered efficiently. Thanks to modern tubeless technology with a 23 mm rim width, wider tyres can be ridden with reduced air pressure, which significantly minimises rolling resistance and vibrations. The ZR1 SL hub with ceramic ball bearings and high engagement frequency ensures immediate power transmission and reliable performance under any load.
Features - Zipp 202 NSW CL Carbon
- Ultralight & optimised for climbing: Developed for maximum efficiency and explosive propulsion on steep climbs.
- Advanced carbon technology: Biomimetic laminate with mixed-modulus fibres for optimum stiffness at the spoke bed and high impact resistance at the rim flange.
- Aero & control: 35 mm rim profile combines aerodynamic advantages with high stability and superior handling on technical descents.
- High-end components: ZR1 SL hubs with ceramic bearings and 66 points of engagement as well as lightweight spokes for direct power transmission and maximum efficiency.
