All-rounder for urban commuting! The combination of bike basket and pannier makes the Vaude Urban Cargo extremely versatile. Plastic parts from scrapped cars, such as bumpers, have been recycled for the extremely robust hard-shell back of the holster.
Bike basket and pannier in one: the Vaude Urban Cargo bag
The fastening system enables simple assembly with a single movement and can be adjusted using easy-to-operate handwheels. The tried-and-tested, lockable QMR 2.0 hooks (e.g. TSA lock, not included) fit on round luggage carrier tubes up to 16 mm in diameter; the lower rail hook additionally secures the bag on bumpy roads. The pannier, which can be removed from the holster, is welded watertight using high-frequency technology, has a wide opening and can be adjusted to the contents using the flexible roll closure and can be carried comfortably over the shoulder using the adjustable strap. The large pack size even swallows a baguette or rolls of posters. For heavier or bulkier loads, the bike basket can be opened for side loading and compressed using a drawstring. The robust, durable holster made of textile material can remain on the bike and can also hold an office bag, school bag or parcel. An attached organiser stows items that are not sensitive to the weather. With reflective prints on the front and sides of the holster.
