The PrimaLoft® insulation in the women’s mountain bike insulation jacket keeps the front warm, whilst water-repellent stretch panels under the arms ensure excellent freedom of movement. When the trail gets wet, the waterproof 3-layer splash guard at the lower back really comes into its own. The VAUDE Green Shape label stands for an environmentally friendly, functional product made from sustainable materials.

Recycled material
To manufacture this highly functional product, Vaude uses, amongst other things, a proportion of recycled polyester. This consists of surplus material from polyester production which – contrary to common practice – is not disposed of as waste but is collected and reintroduced into the production process. This saves up to 50% in energy and CO₂ emissions, as well as reducing the use of fossil raw materials, without compromising the garment’s functionality.
STRETCH
The material’s high elasticity is achieved through its elastane content and its knitted and woven construction. This offers maximum freedom of movement.
WINDPROOF 80
80% wind resistance thanks to an extra-dense construction of the material (weaves, finishes). Any wind that does get through creates a pleasantly cooling breeze within the microclimate, resulting in unbeatable breathability. This technology is ideal for use in windy weather conditions during high-intensity mountain and cycling sports.
