The Women’s Cyclist Padded Parka II is treated with Eco Finish, an environmentally friendly, PFC-free water-repellent finish. The VAUDE Green Shape label stands for an environmentally friendly, functional product made from sustainable and bluesign®-certified materials.

The insulation specialists at PrimaLoft, Inc. have combined 60% recycled material with advanced fibre technology to create a high-performance, eco-friendly insulation that provides instant warmth without excessive bulk.
CEPLEX ACTIVE
Ceplex Active is a high-quality membrane or coating – permanently waterproof, breathable and windproof. It withstands a water column of at least 10,000 mm (JIS L 1092 B). This membrane is 100% PTFE-free.
PET Bottle Recycling
For this functional product, VAUDE uses a proportion of material made from recycled PET plastic bottles. These are collected, cleaned and melted down. The high-quality yarn produced from this is then processed by VAUDE into a new product. This conserves resources and saves energy.
NoPFAS Finish – water- and dirt-repellent treatment
NoPFAS Finish is an environmentally friendly textile treatment technology that makes the outer fabric water- and dirt-repellent – entirely without the use of fluorocarbons or PFAS/PFC chemicals. This special impregnation reduces the absorption of water and dirt whilst maintaining the material’s breathability, offering a more sustainable alternative to conventional fluorinated finishes.
