Product information "Gravel Thundero - TLR Folding Tire"

The TUFO Thundero is a folding tyre for those who don't want to think about where their tour will take them. The sophisticated tread pattern does not let you lose grip neither on tarmac nor dirt and provides plenty of riding comfort.

One for all: the Tufo Gravel Thundero Gravel and Cross tyre

The middle part of the tread, composed of tightly packed cubes, creates speed and surprisingly quiet rolling with three indented rows of knobs on the outer tread, which bite literally into any surface. This provides excellent grip even on unpaved surfaces and allows you to turn sharply. The wide tread and the durable flexible Jubena layer covering the sidewalls protect the tyre from receiving damage from stones. A Puncture proof ply under the tread minimizes the risk of punctures and contributes to the overall reliability of the tyre. The high TPI casing construction, together with the soft tread compound, smoothes out any surface and prevents the tyre from bouncing on uneven surfaces. The Thundero is also made to be long lasting and guarantees high mileage.

Their slogan should be "think carefully where you want to go"... Pierced twice in three months, my previous Cinturato Gravel had one hole in 2 years, same sort of paths (50% asphalt, 40% hard pack, 10% rougher single tracks). The tire has its advantages: it rolls very well, has decent grip on hard surfaces, and does not seem to lose air week after week. However, you'll need tools to set it up (unless you have very strong hands), and it's really weak on the sides... every time you go through a rough single-track, it's a toss-up, get a rock to hit it on the external side of the rolling surface, and it's going to crack open. What can I say... It's not the tire for me.

Fast tyre, good rolling and grip. Stands his ground on wet but definately not for muddy conditions. An absolute pain in the *ss to put tubeless.

fast tire. also good on wet surfaces. compare to continental terra trail this is another ligue. i would not recommend them if you are mainly riding in muddy conditions though.
