The VELOFLEXX bridge allows the rear mudguard to be mounted at the top of the seat bar without tools, using rubber straps. If, despite the disc brakes, there is a crossbar between the seat stays, the distance between the tyre and the crossbar must be 30 mm in order for the bike to be compatible with the VELOFLEXX mudguard.
At the front, the VELOFLEXX is mounted on the fork bridge with a rubberised hook and loop fastener or a cable tie. The frame adapters enable the mudguards to be mounted on any fork and for the angle to be adjusted. The black-coated stays provide even greater support. The VELOFLEXX set is suitable for fitness bikes, mountain bikes and city bikes.

Habe die Schutzbleche für mein Focus 29" MTB gekauft. Am Vorderrad passte das Teil so gerade unter der Gabelbrücke meiner Fox 32 durch, Abstand zum Reifen Schwalbe Marathon MTB ca. 5-8mm. Die Befestigung habe ich mit den mitgelieferten Klettbändern vorgenommen. Alles in allem hat es so gerade gepasst, aber der Mindestabstand von 15mm, in der Anleitung von SKS genannt, war nicht einzuhalten. Die Streben habe ich wie vorgesehen um etwa 25mm kürzen müssen, das war so ok. Am, Hinterrad wurde es dann sportlich mit dem Anbau: Durchfummeln des Schutzbleches unter dem Querhalter der Hinterradstreben - das Schutzblech setzt auf dem Reifen auf und der Befestigungsklipp für das Rahmenrohr der Sattelstütze ungefähr 5cm entfernt. Passte also nicht, eine sinnvolle und verkehrstaugliche Befestigung war so nicht möglich. Ich habe dann viel gesägt und gefeilt und eine Lasche herausgearbeitet, um das Schutzblech über (!) der Querstrebe zu befestigen, was mit 2 Bohrungen und einem Kabelbinder ging. An dieser Stelle hört das Blech jetzt aber auch auf, die unteren ca. 20c,m habe ich abtrennen müssen. Damit sitzt das Blech nun mit einem Abstand von ca. 20mm zum Reifen, ist aber recht kurz. Die vorgesehenen Metallstreben mit der Gummibandbefestigung sind ok, machen aber keinen soliden Eindruck. Da ich vorher schon einige Steckbleche und andere teile von SKS hatte, die allesamt in der Qualität sehr gut waren, bin ich von diesem Set enttäuscht. Ein Wochenendradler, der die Bleche bestellt und einfach mal schnell anbringen möchte, hätte sie sofort als unbrauchbar zurückgeschickt. Schade, ich suche weiter nach schicken, zweckdienlichem Regenschutz für mein MTB.
Der Set ließ sich ganz gut und ordentlich an meinem E-MTB-Fully mit 2,4" breiten Reifen montieren. Es liegen Schutzfolie und Gummipuffer für die Kontaktflächen zum Rahmen bei. Der Schmutzschutz ist selbst bei meinen breiten 2,4ern sehr gut. Allerdings klappert das hintere Schutzblech nervig. Nicht zwischen Schutzblech und Bike sondern irgendwo "intern". Lässt sich nicht im Stand reproduzieren und ich konnte es nach drei Tagen noch nicht beheben.
Ich habe die Schutzbleche auf einem MTB mit 29 x 2,1" breiten Reifen montiert. Dafür sind sie ausreichend breit und sollten auch für 2,3" passen. Die Streben für das vordere Blech musste ich kürzen, was aber auch so vorgesehen ist. Die Streben für hinten sind allerdings zu kurz, damit war keine Befestigung am Rahmen möglich! Daher 2 Sterne Abzug. Da ich einen Tubus Gepäckträger mit zusätzlichen tiefen Taschenhaltern habe, konnte ich das Schutzblech daran fixieren (kleine Löcher gebohrt + Kabelbinder). Die Optik der Bleche geht in montiertem Zustand in Ordnung. Der Praxistest steht noch aus, aber da bin ich zuversichtlich, da die Bleche nun fest sitzen. Positiv zu erwähnen ist noch, das Rahmenschutzfolie beiliegt.
