Calculate frame size
The right size of your hardtail mountain-bike:
The Inside leg length is multiplied by 0.226 and thus you get the theoretical value of the frame size in inch. One inch equals 2.54 cm.
If the theoretical value is in-between two sizes, the following rule of thumb can be applied:
- choose the smaller size when riding athletically
- choose the larger size when riding tour-orientated
How to determine your Inside leg length:
The Inside leg length or stride height is the length of the inside of the leg. The most accurate way to measure your stride length is to use a spirit level and a tape measure or folding rule. Stand barefoot on a flat surface, clamp the spirit level horizontally between your legs and measure the distance from the upper edge of the spirit level to the ground. This value corresponds to your stride length.
Alternatively, you can also determine your frame height based on your height, see the table below. However, the method using inseam length is more accurate.

Product information "GRX Di2 ST-RX815/BR-RX810 11-speed rear disc brake TOP-DEAL"
For gravel, road and cyclocross: GRX Di2 11-speed STI unit ST-RX815 + BR-RX810 rear disc brake from Shimano
All STI units are characterised by an 18 mm higher brake lever pivot, a curved lever shape and non-slip textures on the contact surfaces, which ensure optimum grip even on the roughest terrain. The STI line-up of the GRX family is complemented by the 1x11-speed RX800 and RX600 STIs for links without shifting or DSP functionality, including the 1x11 Di2 version (ST-RX815), whose three switches (two on the side and one on the top of the lever) can be used to operate third-party devices such as compatible lights or computers.
The GRX brake callipers are reminiscent in design of the SHIMANO flat-mount models from the road bike sector and deliver equally high braking performance. They also have established features such as one-way bleeding and the ICE-TECHNOLOGIES heat management system with brake pads and brake discs with cooling fins for maximum fade resistance.
The fact that SHIMANO can present the GRX as the first gravel-specific component family that is designed for both fast progress and safe bike handling on loose surfaces is the result of an intensive and extensive research, testing and development process that incorporated information and feedback from countless riders who ride on trails, forest roads, gravel tracks and tarmac all over the world.

SEIS SHIMANO ELECTRONIC INTELLIGENT SYSTEM
The innovative shifting technology of the SEIS is still based on the SHIMANO INDEX SYSTEM (SIS), whose outstanding shifting performance has proven itself over many years. The main difference between the systems is that the shifting process is no longer mechanical but electronic. This electronic shifting system has been extensively tested in recent years by several professional cyclists under all conceivable conditions, e.g. rain, mud, extreme cold, cobblestones and a combination of these factors. Shifting is done by simply pressing a button. No effort is required to change gear, which has clear advantages as the rider always has a firm grip on the handlebars and can concentrate on riding without being distracted by changing gear. The shifting system enables precise and effortless shifting in all situations, even with cold hands or when the rider is completely exhausted. The shifting performance can also no longer be affected by dirty or stretched cables, as the shift signal is transmitted electronically. The operating buttons work in a similar way to mechanical dual control levers, making it easy to get used to the SEIS.
E-Tube
The E-Tube platform offers optimum flexibility. E-Tube transmits interactive signals and supplies all parts with power via "plug & play" connections. E-Tube is resistant to corrosion, expansion and frost and guarantees low maintenance. And the SMPCE1 establishes the connection between PC and components to update the firmware. Digital devices stay up to date by updating the firmware and offer better functionality.
DI2 (DIGITAL INTEGRATED INTELLIGENCE)
The ground-breaking DI2 shifting system meets the power transmission challenges posed by the drivetrain in cycling. DI2 enables immediate, precise, lightning-fast shifting the first time and every time, at the touch of a button. Even under the most difficult conditions, shifting is precise and controlled. What's more, you can even change gear under heavy load during climbs or acceleration. With DI2 you have everything under control.
