Calculate frame size
The right size of your hardtail mountain-bike:
The Inside leg length is multiplied by 0.226 and thus you get the theoretical value of the frame size in inch. One inch equals 2.54 cm.
If the theoretical value is in-between two sizes, the following rule of thumb can be applied:
- choose the smaller size when riding athletically
- choose the larger size when riding tour-orientated
How to determine your Inside leg length:
The Inside leg length or stride height is the length of the inside of the leg. The most accurate way to measure your stride length is to use a spirit level and a tape measure or folding rule. Stand barefoot on a flat surface, clamp the spirit level horizontally between your legs and measure the distance from the upper edge of the spirit level to the ground. This value corresponds to your stride length.
Alternatively, you can also determine your frame height based on your height, see the table below. However, the method using inseam length is more accurate.

Product information "DURA ACE WH-R9270-C50-TL 28" Center-Lock Carbon Wheelset incl. Bags"
The DURA ACE WH-R9270-C50-TL wheelset from Shimano, complete with matching SM-WB11 bags, offers an ideal combination of low weight and aerodynamic performance thanks to its 50 mm-high full-carbon rims. Particularly noteworthy are the redesigned full-carbon tubeless rims, which ensure high stiffness whilst reducing weight.
THE SCIENCE OF SPEED: Shimano Dura-Ace WH-R9270-C50-TL Centre-Lock + SM-WB11
Shimano has spent years working to give you a head start of seconds. The new 12-speed DURA-ACE R9200 is the fastest groupset ever and the pinnacle of SHIMANO’s technology and innovation. Speed was the driving force behind the development of this new-generation road bike groupset. That’s why every component has been redesigned, refined and optimised to make you even faster – whether you’re breaking away from the peloton or sprinting for the finish on the Champs-Élysées.
The DURA-ACE WH-R9270-TL is a real highlight of the new wheelset range. With a lighter, wider full-carbon rim and a lighter hub, the WH-R9270-TL is ideally equipped for mountain climbs. The new rims – with 36 mm, 50 mm and 60 mm tall profiles – offer good aerodynamic performance despite their extremely low weight. Meanwhile, the 12-speed freehub body (HG-Spline L2) impresses with increased drive stiffness thanks to DIRECT ENGAGEMENT.

Technologies
OPTBAL spoke system
The OPTBAL road bike spoke system uses 24 spokes: 16 on the right and 8 on the left. The cassette width in modern wheels causes an imbalance in tension in conventional 1:1 spoke systems. This imbalance is further exacerbated by the 11-speed cassette, which exerts almost double the tension on the spokes on the right-hand side. Under certain circumstances, spokes with high and low tension may break or come loose. Uneven tension affects the wheel’s lifespan and strength. The OPTBAL design balances the spoke tension, thereby improving wheel stiffness and strength for a more robust wheel.
CENTER LOCK system
CENTER LOCK brake disc mount. This system, which uses a retaining ring for mounting, allows for quick installation and removal of the brake disc, thereby saving on servicing costs. Furthermore, the secure fit on the multi-tooth profile ensures greater precision and rigidity, which increases the effectiveness of the brakes.
