The new DEORE brakes benefit directly from technologies derived from the XTR and DEORE XT groupsets. The DEORE BL-M6200 brake levers can be combined with both the high-performance BR-M6220 four-piston caliper and the lighter BR-M6200 two-piston caliper. New seals and a revised low-viscosity mineral oil ensure a smooth oil flow and a consistent pressure point in both hot and cold conditions.
DEORE brakes – The brake lever utilises SHIMANO’s SERVO WAVE technology, which ensures faster pad contact and a smooth, easily controllable build-up of braking force. In combination with the newly developed calipers, the system offers consistent piston return and reliable braking performance, even on long descents and in changing trail conditions.
