Shimano’s DEORE BL-M6200 hydraulic 2-finger brake lever has been designed with ergonomics and the human hand in mind, offering powerful braking with a smooth lever feel and precise modulation for ultimate control when paired with the 2-piston BR-M6200 brake caliper. The new DEORE brakes benefit directly from technologies derived from the XTR and DEORE XT groupsets. The result is consistent power delivery with high control and a constant braking feel across varying temperatures and trail conditions.
Robust and intuitive: Shimano DEORE BL-M6200+BR-M6200 2-piston rear disc brake
The DEORE BL-M6200 brake levers can be combined with both the high-performance BR-M6220 four-piston brake caliper and the lighter BR-M6200 two-piston brake caliper. New seals and a revised low-viscosity mineral oil ensure a smooth oil flow and a consistent brake feel in both hot and cold conditions.
DEORE brakes – The brake lever utilises SHIMANO’s SERVO WAVE technology, which ensures faster pad contact and a smooth, easily controllable build-up of braking force. In combination with the newly developed calipers, the system offers consistent piston return and reliable braking performance, even on long descents and in changing trail conditions.
