Also specific to the Bel-Air V3 MAX, the more aggressive Rear Rise platform provides further comfort, control, and ultimate power from a sitting position which helps in climbs and accelerated speed found on e-MTB's.

Hidden Undercut Relief
Borrowing proven technology from the Circuit Mtn & Radar Mtn saddles, the BAV3 now utilizes a hidden cut-out to further relieve pressure from the sensitive perineum region. By keeping the cut-out covered, you retain unrestricted mobility on the saddle without sacrificing any pressure relief.
Nylon + Long Glass Fiber with Base Bridge
The enhanced BAV3 base allows extra flex on the edges through each pedal stroke and incorporates a stiff center channel to provide maximum power transfer. The glass fiber reinforced nylon material offers unparalleled strength and allows the saddle to stay true over time and ensure maximum comfort – unlike many saddles on the market that will prematurely bow.
Free Float Rail Inserts
The new reversed inserts on the BAV3 increases the overall flex at the wings of the saddle, allowing the rider to move freely with the natural motion of the sit bones. First introduced on Radar Mtn, the Free Float Rail Inserts give the saddle a more seamless feel and increases pedaling efficiency.
Atmos Shaping
The BAV3 is constructed with the latest manufacturing process for high-end saddles. This vacuum sealed finish leaves no bumpers, stitches or staples and leaves a clean seamless transition into the base.
Sonic Welded Protective Edges
While the Bel-Air is known for protective Kevlar and Cordura side materials, the Atmos shaping allows the BAV3 to incorporate Sonic Weld protective edges. By heat-fusing a rugged side material to the soft micro fiber top, the BAV3 has increased durability and reduced friction points that may irritate riders.
Injection Moulded EVA Foam
Previously, the original Bel-Air used a PU foam and the 2.0 was designed with traditional EVA. Now, with the advancements of technology, the BAV3 is engineered with the lightest weight, mid density injected foam - providing an optimal ride feel and unsurpassed longevity.
Peri-Canal
Proven relief from the BA 2.0, the BAV3 model utilizes a defined center channel to help relieve pressure from the perineum, extending the full length of the saddle. Pressure relief is further elevated when paired with the new hidden undercut.
Lux-Alloy Rails
New for this Modell, the BAV3 features a heat treated Lux-Alloy rail composite, which are nearly 15% stronger than Ti-Alloy Rails (in push and fatigue testing) with a similar with, but at a more affordable price.
