That underline a total of 20% less drag on the Pro One Aero Front than on the Pro One TT (measured at 45 km/h and on a 28mm wide tire). For high puncture resistance at the same time provides Schwalbes RaceGuard material.

Numerous professional teams and triathletes were involved in the development phase and have already put the tire to the test in competition. The first large-scale use of the Pro One Aero is planned for the Ironman World Championships in Nice and Kona.The Pro One Aero is the result of a collaboration with Scott, Syncros and the Swiss engineering firm Radiate. Important part of the project: to develop the best possible aerodynamic tire that does not sacrifice riding performance. In the wind tunnel, Schwalbe's developers optimized the tire shape for modern wide rims. Different designs are used for the front and rear wheels. In the final result, the 28mm wide tire of the Pro One Aero Front even trumps the aerodynamics of the 25mm wide Pro One TT, which until then had been the benchmark. Completely new formula. Addix Race is a multi-compound of the latest and highest quality polymers in tested quality. Since the filling levels for silica have been significantly increased, the mixing process also had to be refined. Different special compounds are used in the center and on the sides. This increases grip in curves without having a negative impact on rolling resistance or durability.
