With our radial tires, we are turning the MTB world on its head. We have always asked ourselves the following question during development: How can we make the best possible use of the limited contact area of a tire? The basis for this is the completely rethought construction of the carcass. The carcass threads, which run diagonally across the tire at a 45° angle in conventional bicycle tires, are arranged at a much more obtuse angle in our radial tires. This technology opens up completely new dimensions in the function of bicycle tires.

Interesting tyre. I thought by going to a 2.5 tire the tire volume would shrink considerably compared to 29 x 2.6 tyres I was previously using. Nope, they are a tall tire even if narrower than the 2.6's. They feel sluggish on asphalt but hit the dirt and you feel like you're taking off. They grip very well and I can climb tech that I couldn't even with the 2.6's and braking on descents - they offer lots of braking grip. They are quiet rolling and they don't ping you sideways compared to X-ply tires when you go through rocks and roots. On hard surfaces they can feel like they are folding over when pushed hard but I think that is also due to the tallness of the side walls. In the dirt and on rough trails - I don't feel it. Quite impressed.
