Quaxar Disc pads for Avid/SRAM Code/Guide RE/G2/DB4/DB6/DB8/Motive
Product information "Disc pads for Avid/SRAM Code/Guide RE/G2/DB4/DB6/DB8/Motive"
High-performance Quaxar brake pads for Avid/SRAM Code/Guide RE/G2/DB4/DB6/DB8/Motive disc brakes in a range of pad compounds – designed for durability and smooth braking on any terrain and in all conditions. Quaxar offers high-performance brake pads which, thanks to innovative material compounds, guarantee maximum safety and optimum performance for every riding style.
Quaxar: Innovative brake pads for every driving style
For disc brakes, Quaxar essentially offers three different brake pad compounds, which differ in their composition, durability and intended use.
Organic | GXR ( Organic brake pads – carbon/resin)
- Material: Organic fibres bonded with resins, often reinforced with carbon fibres
- Properties: Excellent modulation, very quiet and provide immediate bite (even without much heat)
- Applications: Perfect for everyday use, touring, city riding and easy trails
Carbon Metallic (Semi) | AXU ( Carbon-metallic pads – semi-metallic/matrix)
- Material: A hybrid blend of carbon and metallic components
- Features: Combines the best of both worlds. Extremely durable and gentle on brake discs, but requires a little heat to achieve full braking performance
- Applications: A highly versatile all-rounder for trail riding, e-bikes or trekking
E-bike Carbon Metallic | VRX (special range)
- E-bike: Specially reinforced pads (often sintered or carbometallic) designed to withstand the higher forces and weight of e-bikes
Carbon Sintered | XBR ( Sintered metal pads – Sintered/Metallic)
- Material: A mixture of metals (e.g. copper and bronze) fused together under high heat and pressure
- Properties: Maximum braking power, excellent heat resistance (anti-fading) and exceptionally high durability, even in wet or muddy conditions
- Applications: Ideal for demanding descents, downhill (DH), enduro and e-bikes
Features – Quaxar disc pads for Avid/SRAM Code/Guide RE/G2/DB4/DB6/DB8/Motive
- Precision: Pinpoint braking performance in every riding situation
- Versatility: Perfectly balanced compounds for every application
- Durability: High resistance to wear under extreme conditions
- Innovation: Advanced technologies such as carbon and matrix reinforcements

Technologies
Carbon-Organic
Quaxar’s carbon-organic disc pads use a blend of organic friction fibres combined with high-tech carbon composites. This friction material significantly improves thermal stability in all weather conditions.
CeraPlasma™
CeraPlasma Disc Pads is a patented process for spraying molten or softened ceramic material onto a metal backing plate to create a thermal barrier or insulation that disperses heat before it is transferred to the brake caliper components. A ceramic layer has been added to ensure corrosion protection.
- Carbon friction material for extreme heat resistance
- Excellent braking performance in both dry and wet conditions
- Superior durability for extended pad life
- Manufacturer number: XBR1044
