PFAS are a group of harmful and environmentally damaging chemical compounds that are still used in many consumer products such as textiles, coatings and cleaning agents. They are difficult or impossible to biodegrade and disperse in the environment, so that they can also accumulate in drinking water and organisms.

PROTECTIVE Sports relies on bio-based sourcing and uses bio-based polyamide, which is obtained from renewable biomass through fermentation processes. FLOCUS (KAPOK)
At PROTECTIVE Sports, the protection of nature is a top priority and is actively practiced. They deliberately avoid using animal insulation such as feathers and down and instead rely on natural or synthetic fibers. In close cooperation with FLOCUS™, they use plant fibers from the kapok tree, which are ideal for padding and also prove themselves in T-shirts thanks to their unique properties. This project with FLOCUS™ is particularly close to PROTECTIVE's heart and underlines their commitment to sustainable and animal-friendly production.
