Patented breakaway visor: the Kortal Race MIPS from POC
The adjustable and removable visor can be attached high up on the helmet to stow goggles. The rear ventilation can also be used to safely store sunglasses. The ventilation is not covered by a goggle strap, so the rider stays cool. The helmet is certified to the Dutch NTA 8776 standard for e-bike helmets, the only standard of its kind in the world. In the event of a fall, the patented breakaway visor detaches from the helmet to protect the neck from injury.
Goggles can be worn under the visor when not in use and the ventilation openings are positioned so that they are not covered by the goggle strap.
The Kortal helmet was developed for use with e-bikes and complies with the Dutch e-bike helmet standard NTA 8776

NFC Medical ID
The twICEme® NFC Medical ID enables access to important medical data and emergency contacts. An NFC write function is required (most Android phones, iPhone 7 or higher with iOS 13 or later).
RECCO® Reflector
Helmets with an integrated RECCO® reflector enable professional rescuers to safely locate missing persons from the air. The patented RECCO® technology is a two-part system. The active detector is used by the organized rescue, the passive reflector is worn by the user.
360° fit
A 360° adjustment system ensures a secure and comfortable fit.
