The Mips Air Node system consists of a low-friction shell that is applied to the base of the inner padding. The system is connected to the energy-absorbing inner shell via fastening nodes with Velcro fasteners. The knots are designed to release locally in the event of an angled impact, allowing the padding to slide, thereby reducing the rotational movements of the head.
