SmartEVO COMPOUND
The latest and most advanced compound formula for road use is the result of Pirelli's many years of motorsport experience and collaboration with the Pro Teams of the World Tour. The new SmartEVO compound is based on three different polymers, each of which offers the best performance in different areas in a perfect ratio. The unique composition of the polymers with their "intelligent" properties are the core elements of the SmartEVO compound, which provides better grip and less rolling resistance in all weather conditions. The SmartEVO compound is a high-performance formula developed for modern road cycling, from daily training to World Tour racing. The SmartEVO compound is an exclusive feature of the P Zero range.
The highest performing tubeless-ready option in our road range consists of a thin, airtight layer of rubber compound with aramid particles covering the inner part of the tire. The improved flexibility of the rubber compound makes the tire faster and smoother, while the aramid guarantees better puncture resistance. The carcass is completed by a 120 tpi nylon fabric and aramid puncture protection.
New TLR carcass technology with multiple reinforcement layers to achieve superior puncture protection despite the lightweight construction. For incredibly powerful all-rounders with a first-class ratio of weight to puncture protection.
