BIKE PEDALS
There are different types of bike pedals that are optimally adapted to the respective purpose. Platform pedals, for example, have a large contact surface with pins on both sides of the pedal and can be used in a variety of ways. Clipless pedals, on the other hand, offer optimal power transmission, but require special shoes with soles suitable for attaching cleats. If, depending on preference and route profile, you do not want to do without either the efficiency of a clipless pedal or the simplicity of a platform pedal, or if you just want to cruise casually to the ice cream stand, you are best served with so-called combo pedals. One side is like a platform pedal, the other like a clipless pedal. Our four categories for bicycle pedals offer a quick overview. Have fun browsing!
