Calculate frame size
The right size of your hardtail mountain-bike:
The Inside leg length is multiplied by 0.226 and thus you get the theoretical value of the frame size in inch. One inch equals 2.54 cm.
If the theoretical value is in-between two sizes, the following rule of thumb can be applied:
- choose the smaller size when riding athletically
- choose the larger size when riding tour-orientated
How to determine your Inside leg length:
The Inside leg length or stride height is the length of the inside of the leg. The most accurate way to measure your stride length is to use a spirit level and a tape measure or folding rule. Stand barefoot on a flat surface, clamp the spirit level horizontally between your legs and measure the distance from the upper edge of the spirit level to the ground. This value corresponds to your stride length.
Alternatively, you can also determine your frame height based on your height, see the table below. However, the method using inseam length is more accurate.

Product information "HoldFast Trail Tool Wrap - Frame Bag"
The flexible revolution for your trail gear: Clean, safe, and always ready!" HoldFast Trail Tool Wrap by Peaty's
There is even a fully waterproof inner pocket to keep small items and valuables safe and dry.
The unique attachment system consists of two parts: the strap and the tool wrap. This allows the strap to be buckled tightly around the frame to ensure the best possible hold. The bag is attached to the strap so that the tools are quickly to hand when needed.
Once removed and opened, the bag can also be temporarily detached from the bike by sticking it back onto the strap (which remains attached to the frame). This keeps all tools clean and quickly to hand.
The flexible mounting system allows the strap to be attached anywhere and to any bike without being restricted by water bottle or accessory mounts. There's enough room for a tube and a few trail essentials to be carried in your backpack on longer rides.
Features - Peaty's HoldFast Trail Tool Wrap
- No rattling, no slipping
- Flexible transportation of the most important utensils for the trail on any bike

Product features
- What all fits inside? Just as you wouldn’t expect to fit everything from a 30 litre rucksack into a 5 litre Enduro Bumbag, You need to be equally as selective with what you carry in your HoldFast Tool Wrap. You’ll soon find your ideal setup after a few minutes trying different combinations.
- Main pocket (contents not included):
- 1x Holeshot puncture plugger
- 1x Holeshot CO2 inflator head
- Either 1x or 2x 25G CO2 cartridges (depending on multitool size)
- 1x Multitool (the smaller, the better)
- 2x Tire levers
- Zip pocket (contents not included):
- Either credit card, some coins or a banknote
- Car or house keys
- Small cable ties
- Split links
- Main pocket (contents not included):
Attachment instructions
- Pack your essential items into the pouch of your wrap. Give the pocket a squeeze to help everything settle into place and make the wrap easier to roll.
- Roll your wrap tightly and check to see it fits in the area of your frame that you’d most like to store it. We suggest underneath the top tube, but you may find a better place for you depending on your particular frame size or suspension layout.
- Clean and dry the area you want to attach the wrap to.
- Take your strap, place the grippy rubber patch onto your frame and feed the strap through the buckle.
- (optional) if you want to carry an innertube, place the folded tube between the strap and frame at this point.
- Pull the strap tight then cinch it back on itself tightly so the velcro sticks to itself. The strap (and tube if added) should now be firmly locked in place around your frame.
- Now, take your wrap and stick it to the underside of the strap.
- Firmly pull the strap around the wrap and stick the strap onto itself to secure everything in place firmly. Now get out and ride!
Color (choose variant)
- moss green
- nightrider black

Average rating of 5 out of 5 stars
