It features the BOA 360° fit system, which uses an adjustable knob for a custom and secure fit. The Mips® safety system is a low-friction layer integrated into the helmet. It reduces the rotational movement of the head, helping to reduce damaging forces that might otherwise impact the wearer's head.
There are 19 vents in total, including redesigned vents at the front and top that significantly improve airflow and breathability. Front vents provide riders with a convenient place to store their goggles. Unobtainium® grippers keep goggle temples in place, while a second goggle storage area is located on the back of the helmet - a feature only the DRT5 Maven offers.
The DRT5 Maven features the innovative Sweat Guard brow pad and a traditional textile pad on the top of the helmet. The silicone gel Sweat Guard absorbs and wicks sweat from the forehead to keep goggles from getting dirty, while the textile pad provides more contact points to increase overall comfort. The antimicrobial Ionic+™ lining is activated by sweat for freshness and odor control.
A four-point adjustable visor keeps sun and debris off your face while providing a safe place to store your goggles. Designed with Oakley Airbrake MTB goggles in mind, the DRT5 Maven offers a seamless fit.
The DRT5 Maven features a branding badge with Iiridium® coating that mirrors the Prizm™ lens colors of Oakley eyewear. Each badge color is unique to the helmet color, but all celebrate the Oakley eyewear tradition.
