The X-Frame® system and the overlap construction of the upper shoe wrap the foot without causing pressure points, helping to transfer every watt of power and preventing the dispersion of energy and the feet from falling asleep, often caused by closure systems that cannot provide even pressure distribution. The SLW2 twist closure with its micro-step grid ensures millimeter-precise adjustment and adaptation of the shoe.
The new Easyfit Climaflex collar in the step-in area combines the extreme elasticity of the Gore-Tex Rattler® membrane with the high thermal insulation of neoprene, thus increasing mobility and protection.
The ergonomic heel shape with its anatomical fit thanks to the latest thermoforming technology in conjunction with the Arctic 4Layer insole made of EVA + aluminum and EVA + pile ensures excellent thermal insulation.
The 360° reflective inserts ensure greater safety in poor visibility conditions.

Socks tips for Gore-Tex® bike shoes
The socks worn in shoes with Gore-Tex® must match the functional properties of the shoes. Although you might think that thick socks are the first choice to protect you from the cold, they have a serious disadvantage: the thicker the sock, the more difficult it is to wick moisture away from the foot. In the worst case, the sock can even become completely soaked with sweat. This creates the unpleasant feeling of dampness and wetness. However, this does not depend on the shoe. The moisture comes from the inside. So it's better to wear slightly thinner socks made from a functional material that wicks moisture away to the outside and thus promotes evaporation through the membrane pores.

Textile / Synthetics / RubberSolider, wasserdichter Schuh mit ausreichend steifer Sohle. Der Schuh fällt normal groß aus, ich habe ihn eine Nummer größer gekauft und kann somit ein-zwei dickere Socken tragen. Die Wärmeleistung ist mit dickere3n Socken ausreichend. Ein Stern Abzug, da in dieser Preisklasse zwei Drehverschlüsse zu erwarten sind, die eine noch exaktere Passform ermöglichen.
Ich habe normalerweise eine 43er (27,1cm) Schuhgröße und habe Sie mir in 43,5 geholt uns sie passen (Der Schuh ist vorne etwas geräumiger als bei klassischen Rennrad schuhen) !!! Leider habe ich einen norddeutschen Senk, Platt und Spreizfuß, deshalb tue ich mich mit hohen Innengewölbe schwer, welcher hier flach ausfällt. Der Einstieg ist schon nicht einfach aber mit den zwei Griffen und ein bisschen Schwung geht es. Ich hätte mir zwei Verschlüsse gewünscht aber der Verschluss ist OK für mich. Die nächsten kalten Tage können jetzt kommen :-)
Musste den Schuh eine 1/2 Größe größer nehmen, jetzt sitzt er 1a. Ich kann nur gutes sagen: super angenehm am Fuß und super Halt, hält warm ohne Hitzestau dank der Lurftzirkulation in der Sohle, einfacher Ein- und Ausstieg, pure Kraftübertragung durch die carbonverstärkte Sohle, reflektierende Amplikationen und Aufdrucke
