Calculate frame size
The right size of your hardtail mountain-bike:
The Inside leg length is multiplied by 0.226 and thus you get the theoretical value of the frame size in inch. One inch equals 2.54 cm.
If the theoretical value is in-between two sizes, the following rule of thumb can be applied:
- choose the smaller size when riding athletically
- choose the larger size when riding tour-orientated
How to determine your Inside leg length:
The Inside leg length or stride height is the length of the inside of the leg. The most accurate way to measure your stride length is to use a spirit level and a tape measure or folding rule. Stand barefoot on a flat surface, clamp the spirit level horizontally between your legs and measure the distance from the upper edge of the spirit level to the ground. This value corresponds to your stride length.
Alternatively, you can also determine your frame height based on your height, see the table below. However, the method using inseam length is more accurate.

Average rating of 3 out of 5 stars
Average rating of 3 out of 5 stars
The wheels are pretty light, I measured 1432 grams with tubeless tape and valves. I'm happy with the wheels, but I really struggled with the setup. It’s not super clear from the description, but you’ll need to buy tubeless valves separately. The rim profile doesn’t work with regular valves with a conical rubber base. I had to experiment a bit before finding a valve that actually works with these wheels. I highly recommend using them with the 60mm Muc-Off V2 universal valves. The rim tape that came with the wheels was a total letdown. It was installed poorly in the factory. I finally replaced it to get a pair of affordable, lightweight, and reliable gravel wheels.
