MIPS®
MET takes the safety of cyclists very seriously: Every single production batch is rigorously tested in MET's own laboratory. To make the helmet even safer, the new Manta MIPS® is equipped with the MIPS-C2® brain protection system. This allows it to float on the head and effectively dissipate damaging rotational forces from the head in the event of a fall.
Aerodymics
Thanks to its lower, tubular profile at the rear, which was developed using special wind tunnel tests in the NEWTON laboratory in Milan, the Manta MIPS® is even more aerodynamic than its predecessor.
Fit
In addition to its technical masterpieces, the Manta MIPS® is also exceptionally comfortable. The fit is derived from the award-winning MET Trenta 3K Carbon and also scores points with a 360° circumferential headband that effectively prevents pressure points on the head.

Ventilation
The inner shape has been designed to channel the incoming air. MET's signature NACA vent also works in synergy with the specially positioned air outlet, which ensures a constant flow of air through the helmet without increasing air resistance.
Magnetic Fidlock® buckle
The magnetic Fidlock® buckle makes it particularly easy to close and open the chin strap. It can save triathletes valuable time, especially in the transition zone.
Sunglasses ports
Two special rubber ports hold sunglasses securely on the helmet when not in use.
