HFS - HYDRO FORMING SYSTEM
Various processing methods are used to get the best out of an aluminium tube. The most complex and effective is hydroforming: the aluminium tube is placed in a negative mould and a hot emulsion of water and oil is forced through it under high pressure. The result is perfectly formed, lightweight and beautifully shaped aluminium tubes.
X-TAPER HEADTUBE
High steering precision is crucial for safe and confident handling. The tapered head tube with a larger diameter at the bottom and smaller at the top increases stiffness and copes with the high loads of modern riding styles without adding unnecessary weight. The construction is designed for tapered forks and ensures precise handling.
SMOOTH WELDING
A special smoothing process gives the weld seams a flat, clean finish. The filler material is smoothed in a targeted manner, which not only improves the look, but also results in particularly stable and elegant aluminium frames with a carbon-like appearance.
INTERNAL CABLE ROUTING
Shift and brake cables are routed internally through the frame. This protects the cables from the weather, ensures a tidy appearance and offers aerodynamic advantages. Depending on the model, systems such as SMART ENTRY or WIRE PORT are used.
DI2 READY

RACELITE 61 ALUMINIUM

K-MOUNT

CASTING MOTOR BRACKET
The motor interface is manufactured using casting technology to create a complex, lightweight and extremely stable connection between the motor and frame. This design increases performance and reliability and ensures a clean look.
NON-SLIP TIGHTENING
A system that enables important bolts to be tightened with just one tool. Specially shaped bolt heads grip the frame precisely and prevent them from turning. This makes it easy to retighten screws on the move and damaged threads or bolts can be easily replaced.
INTERNAL BLOCK SYSTEM
This system limits the steering angle in both directions and prevents the fork crown from hitting the down tube. An integrated bracket in the frame and a special adapter on the fork additionally protect the frame and fork with a rubberised contact surface.
ENERGY GUARD TWIST
Two-part battery cover for integrated batteries. It reliably protects against dirt and moisture, while the softer outer layer absorbs shocks. A tool-free twist lock allows quick access to the battery, which remains securely in place even on rough terrain.
P-FLEX
Suspension design with Flexstay construction, which dispenses with a classic pivot point on the seat stay. The targeted material flex saves weight, reduces maintenance and increases the rigidity of the frame structure.
WIRE PORT

Trail mode
Trail mode utilises the full 85 Nm of the EP8 drivetrain to support the rider comfortably, safely and reliably on difficult sections. The extremely versatile support mode is optimised by default and requires no further adjustment. This allows you to concentrate fully on conquering the toughest trails. The harder you pedal, the more support power is available to you. This means that you are supported by the drive unit at exactly the right time and always have optimum traction and control. Whether it's loose sand or steep climbs in the mountains, the drive unit always adapts quickly and independently so that you can concentrate fully on the terrain.
Geometry
Excelent bike with a good price . Have the S size and its weight 27.3 kg . Geometry has a good balance on agresive downhill trails. Suspensions are working really nice .Bike has been dellivered without damages but the local delivery operator was not proffesional , I have been asked to pikup the bike 3 km far away from my adress altrough i have pay fully dellivery tax .
Das Bike ist in Sachen Preis/Leistung echt super. Ich finde die Geometrie und die Komponenten sehr gut abgestimmt. Einzig die "nur 10 fach Schaltung " finde ich etwas altmodisch, was aber in den meisten Fällen bei einem E Bike nicht stört. Nur wenns wirklich steil wird. Einen großen Dank an das Team von Bikediscount für die super schnelle Lieferung.
Winterberg kann wieder kommen! Eigentlich war Merida nicht die Marke nach der wir geguckt haben. Durch Zufall auf den Shop gekommen und direkt bestellt. Nichts zu bemängeln, tut was es soll und der kleene ist mehr als zufrieden!
