Product information "eONE-SIXTY 575 IV1 Glossy Earth Powder (returned item)"

This Merida eONE-SIXTY 575 IV1 is a returned item. The full-suspension e-bike shows slight signs of wear (as well as paint scratches on the rear triangle) and has only been ridden during the test ride (a total of 306 km).

Climb after climb, trail after trail, descent after descent – the Merida eONE-SIXTY 575 is your reliable and capable e-enduro companion. Its powerful Shimano EP801 motor, with 85 Nm of torque, and the generously sized 750 Wh battery deliver confident assistance and plenty of range for long and challenging rides. The tried-and-tested geometry and well-balanced suspension will never let you down.

Control and comfort are ensured by a RockShox Psylo Silver R suspension fork with 160 mm of travel, combined with a RockShox Deluxe shock at the rear. The precise Shimano CUES 1x12-speed drivetrain guarantees reliable performance on any terrain, whilst hydraulic Tektro Gemini 4-piston disc brakes deliver powerful and easily modulated braking performance. The setup is rounded off by high-grip Maxxis Assegai tyres at the front and a Maxxis Minion DHR II on the rear wheel – for maximum grip both uphill and downhill.

Technologies

HFS – HYDRO FORMING SYSTEM
To get the very best out of an aluminium tube, various processing methods are used. The most complex – and at the same time the most effective – is hydroforming. In this process, the aluminium tube is placed into a negative mould and a hot emulsion of water and oil is forced through it under high pressure. The result is perfectly shaped aluminium tubes, which form the basis for elegant and lightweight aluminium frames.

X-TAPER HEADTUBE
High steering precision is crucial for safe and confident handling. The X-TAPER HEADTUBE significantly improves this precision. A larger headset diameter at the bottom and a smaller one at the top cope with the high stresses of modern riding styles without adding unnecessary weight. At the same time, it allows for easy fitting of tapered forks and ensures precise, confidence-inspiring steering behaviour.

SMOOTH WELDING
This process ensures a particularly clean and flat finish on the weld seams. By passing the welding torch over the seam a second time, the filler metal is smoothed out, thereby preventing any visible unevenness. The result is extremely stable and elegant frames that resemble carbon fibre in appearance.

INTERNAL CABLE ROUTING
Gear and brake cables are routed internally through the frame. Depending on the model, routing is achieved via discreet stops or systems such as SMART ENTRY or WIRE PORT. This protects the cables from the elements, ensures a tidy appearance and offers additional aerodynamic benefits.

DI2 READY
Shimano’s electronic Di2 gear-shifting system enables fast, precise and reliable gear changes. Compatible frames are designed to accommodate the integration of electronic cables, batteries and other system-related components.

RACELITE 61 ALUMINIUM
6061-grade aluminium is used, which is ideally suited to hydroforming and technoforming processes. Varying wall thicknesses create double-butted tubes and complex frame shapes. Careful heat treatment results in stable yet lightweight bike frames that deliver a highly enjoyable riding experience.

K-MOUNT
An integrated K-MOUNT on the chainstay facilitates the fitting of a MERIDA side stand or standard side stands available on the market. When no stand is in use, the mounting remains discreetly concealed and does not detract from the bike’s appearance.

CASTING MOTOR BRACKET
The motor interface on an e-bike frame is manufactured using casting technology to achieve a complex yet lightweight shape. This creates an extremely stable connection between the motor and the frame, enhancing performance, reliability and a clean aesthetic.

NON-SLIP TIGHTENING
A system that allows key bolts to be tightened using just one tool. Specially shaped bolt heads engage with corresponding recesses in the frame, preventing them from turning with the bolt. Damaged threads or bolts can therefore be easily replaced.

INTERNAL BLOCK SYSTEM
This system limits steering angle in both directions and prevents the fork crown from damaging the down tube. An additional rubber coating protects the frame and fork in the event of crashes or extreme steering angles.

ENERGY GUARD TWIST
Two-component battery cover for integrated batteries. It provides reliable protection against dirt and moisture, absorbs impacts thanks to a softer outer layer, and is securely fastened using a tool-free twist lock – even on challenging terrain.

P-FLEX
A chassis design without a traditional pivot point on the seat stay. The controlled flex of the material and the special tube shape allow the seat stays and chain stays to move when the suspension compresses. This reduces weight and maintenance requirements whilst increasing structural stiffness.

WIRE PORT
Control cables are routed from the handlebars through the headset cover directly into the frame. This ensures a particularly clean look, as well as a lighter, sturdier and more aerodynamic frame construction. Depending on the model, the cable routing is either fully or semi-integrated.

FAST KINEMATIC
Size-specific rear end kinematics with Flexstay design to reduce weight and maintenance requirements. Different progression rates depending on frame size, along with a flip chip, allow for either a 29er or mullet setup whilst maintaining consistent handling.

LONG FENDER
Mounting points for an optional long mudguard provide improved protection against dirt and moisture. This keeps the rider and bike cleaner, reduces noise and extends the service life of bearings and cables.

  • After 1000 full charge cycles, the batteries still store 60 % of the maximum charge.
  • The quick-charge function gets you back on the trail faster
  • Enables long-distance rides

Compatible with SHIMANO Deore XT Di2 (optional)

The EP8 (EP801) is compatible with the precise electronic shifting technology of the DEORE XT Di2 and enables the use of FREE SHIFT and AUTO SHIFT functionalities. Another plus is the large selection of cranks, chains and chainrings.

The DEORE XT Di2 is available in two versions:

  • Fast and easy shifting with HYPERGLIDE+ for 12-speed drivetrains with FREE SHIFT
  • Harmonious and durable shifting with LINKGLIDE technology for 11-speed drivetrains with FREE SHIFT and AUTO SHIFT

Advantages:

  • Shorter cranks prevent pedal slap and enable a smooth cadence with constant motor support
  • Crank lengths: 160 mm, 165 mm, 170 mm or 175 mm
  • Light and stable chainrings with DYNAMIC CHAIN ENGAGEMENT+ for improved chain retention in rough terrain
  • Chainring variants: 32T, 34T, 36T or 38T
