The Mavic Ksyrium SL Heritage front wheel combines legendary light alloy performance with an individual look and classic rim brake compatibility. The lightweight ISM4D rim weighs just 400 g and offers dynamic, precise handling thanks to its 22 mm depth and 19 mm width.
Fore technology keeps the rim flange stable, providing additional stiffness and eliminating the need for a rim tape. The new Infinity hub with its stiff axle and durable bearings ensures maximum stability. Combined with UST Road Tubeless technology, the Ksyrium SL Heritage offers more comfort, grip, and puncture resistance—ideal for fast, reliable everyday riding.

- Maxtal aluminium alloy - Light and strong. Exclusive to Mavic, this specific aluminum alloy offers a higher strength to weight ratio than conventional 6106 alloy.
- ISM light rim technology - Strong where it matters, light everywhere else
- Infinity hub design - Efficient power transfer thanks to optimised non-contact spoke lacing (no noise under load) and tension distribution. The length of the spokes at the front and rear is identical. Maintenance is easy thanks to a tool-free solution.
- Fore technology - Stiffer and stronger. Instead of being drilled, the lower rim bridge is pushed up on the inside, then threaded to enable the spoke nipples to be directly screwed in it, leaving the upper rim bridge intact.
- UST tubeless technology - Traction and control. Universal Standard for Tubeless. Ready to ride tubeless system. The UST concept improves traction, control and comfort whilst reducing inertia and flats.
- SUP welding technology - Soudé Usiné Process, stronger and smoother joint. After bending, the rim joint is arc welded. The welded seam is then milled for a smooth finish.
- QRM Auto bearing preload technology - Qualité de Roulements Mavic Auto. Those cartridge bearings are of course double sealed with C3 internal clearance. Their preload is automatically adjusted to guarantee a perfect spin with no play on the long run.
